I find the romances contained in the HP series to be "great" romances. Therefore the idea has spun in my head to deliver other great romantic moments in television, movies and other stories through the prism of HP characters. Lots of fluff, but told with HP ships through situations found in other great romantic tales. A chapter for each converted tale. Primarily R/Hr, but with a little G/H (and maybe some others) thrown in as well. Most should be generally Canon compliant, but some things may have to be made AU to fit.

It's been six years since the defeat of Lord Voldemort, and the wizarding world is still rebuilding. Led by Acting Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt, the Ministry has regained control. However, old prejudices die hard, and threats from within and without threaten to undo all the hard work that the wizarding world has made. A look into what happened after the battle, and how not all battles end with the vanquishing of the Dark Lord.

Harry asked one thing from his friends after they decided to go after the Horcruxes and through all this war together, but now that it's over, he finds his priorities and points of view aren't as clear as they were back then.

Is Snape evil? I don't think so. Apart from it being an awful letdown, it would also mean that JKR is a sloppy writer. Is Snape good? Well, he has just cast an Unforgivable Curse, and we all know what that does to your soul, so far from me to go and claim he's all sweet and nice and so misunderstood. But maybe he needn't be either of those. Here is my theory for Snape's behaviour in HBP, in a long (but hopefully not dry) essay with plenty of canon reference :-).

But when Harry meets a boy with blond hair and his pet wolf in Madam Malkin’s, some of the things he knows begin to change...
