It's the summer before Harry's fifth year and the war has started. When he is rescued from Privet Drive by Sirius and Rebecca Black, things get interesting because Rebecca had a past few speak of and she has a plan to teach Harry exactly what he needs to defeat the Dark Lord.

The Marauders used to visit the Tonks household often, to see Andromeda and Ted and play with little Nymphadora. Fourteen years later, one particular memory of one of these visits comes up. Slight RLNT.

In the summer following Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts, Harry must deal with his decision to not return to school. His friends force him to rethink his plans as they convince him to restart the D.A. and also promise to help him in his quest to vanquish Voldemort. In the adventures that precede the annual trip on the Hogwarts Express, Harry learns a great deal about the powers of both love and trust.

This is the story of what happened between 'gigs', when characters meet in the Great Hall to share their complaints about how they're portrayed. Dumbledore has been rooted out of retirement after 'dying', James has doubts about Harry's paternity, Remus rants, and Voldemort does a Gilderoy. In short, mayhem ensues. These are not Jo's sterling characters. This group of players has been forced to enact some of the most atrocious parts in fan fiction-dom, and they're all primed and ready for the casting grouch.

Remus is haunted by Sirius' memory and Tonks knows just how to manipulate him in his despair.
