Post HBP. Dumbledore is dead. The Order of the Phoenix is working against the Death Eaters. Harry, Ron and Hermione are seeking to destroy the Horcruxes. Snape, now considered a traitor from almost the entire wizarding community, is trying to sabotage Voldemort, while keeping Draco and Narcissa safe from Voldemort's wrath.

A story that follows the lives of the Order of the Phoenix members since the day of Sirius's death in OotP until the end of HBP. Main focus on Snape and Dumbledore's joint, secret efforts to stop Voldemort, and on the development of the relationship between Remus and Tonks.

Lily's friends organize a small party to celebrate her birthday, and warn James to stay away from it. Which, naturally, means that James will do everything in his power to ruin it.

The Marauders used to visit the Tonks household often, to see Andromeda and Ted and play with little Nymphadora. Fourteen years later, one particular memory of one of these visits comes up. Slight RLNT.
