Sequel to Our Little One. September 2005 finds the Malfoy clan scattered around: Sirius, Remus and Lucius in Finland arranging the new werewolf centre, Harry and Draco traveling around England, and Severus, Olivia, and Malcolm teaching at Hogwarts. Problems with the arrangements of the new werewolf centre in Finland are little compared to the Death Eater attacks, Ministry problems, and other Dark threats Hogwarts has to endure. AU. Sometimes just innocent baby-sitting can turn out to be a nightmare. So is it to Remus when Voldemort attacks just when he's looking after Harry for Lily and James. James is back to Sirius. They walk in on the middle of something that makes both Harry and Remus very uneasy, discuss about their past and occasionally snog a bit.

Remus loves everything and anything. Like Sirius often says, he's too good to the world. Unfortunately, those who are too good are often those who leave before their time.... After two years of undisturbed sleep, Remus's mind finally slips further. Sirius tries to come to terms with this, remembering that not as good a person as Remus can ever be forgotten completely. Dumbledore decides that as the Marauders and Snape are always in detention, they could just as well do something with that time that the whole school can enjoy. So, despite Lily's protests, the Detention Club presents its very own version of "Little Red Ridinghood."

Smoking is a bad habit. Smoking in the bed is a very bad habit. Harry does both. Sleeping with a man twice your age is not normal. Sleeping with your Godfather is definitely not normal. Harry does both. Thinking about things at midnight brings up strange thoughts. Thinking about saving the Wizarding World brings up even stranger thoughts. Harry does both. Saving the world because it's the right thing to do is brave. Saving it because you want to is brave also. Saving it because you have no choice is what Harry's doing.

There’s one thing little Harry wants from Santa Claus more than anything else: a little sister or brother. Remus and Severus tell the boy not to be disappointed, but in the end, they can hardly do anything but believe.

Remus Lupin's sixteenth birthday doesn't seem to be turning out very happy. The Ministry doesn't want werecubs running around. Therefore, every werewolf of sixteen years of age or more has to go through a certain operation. Remus is upset, Sirius tells to Peter and James, Peter and James are shocked, and Remus has a bit of happy birthday after all.

Voldemort has planned something particularly nasty, something that Severus highly disapproves of. Remus is shocked, Severus is protective, and Dumbledore has plans.

We've both lived long life, love. And now's time for it to end. Sweet dreams, love.

A fateful mistake with the Wolfsbane potion brings some unexpected consequences, like heroic Snape, puzzled Pomfrey, and terrified Trio, and some not-so-unexpected, like twinkle-eyed Dumbledore, a mysterious illness, and the best pairing possible after OotP.``A RL/SS FQF Response.

After OotP, Remus is mourning. Severus sees him crying one day, steps inside and talks to him, being his nasty self - until he tells an old story. Oddly enough, this seems to comfort Remus some way.
