11/30/2004Some time after midnight, Remus gets an unexpected guest. From Severus's story he realizes that things aren't as bad as he thought -- they are worse. James's betrayal seems to have ruined their whole lives.

01/08/2005Remus is sorry for Severus, and Severus isn't going to change the way he is. Both men remember a certain time in their teen years, but then duty calls.
Chapter 04
07/27/2005Severus and Remus start changing the study into a nursery for little Harry. Dumbledore comes to set the wards. Later, a prisoner in a cold cell receives an unforgiving visitor, who just doesn't understand.
