Goodbyes

In the Final Battle, a great sacrifice is made. A sacrifice everybody's stunned over. Afterwards, secrets are revealed. Funerals are attended. Bonds are broken, and bonds remain. Speeches are spoken. And Severus just doesn't understand. Character death, SS/RL.

As Severus goes around in his quarters, memories of Remus attack him from everywhere. Finally, he finds a message from his beloved - enough to make him break down finally.

In the old age of 225, Headmaster Snape is still around - much to the wonder of the others and the dismay of the man himself. However, a tutoring session with young Melinda Potters proves to be rather surprising, at least in the end.
