As the years have passed, Harry Potter has been somewhat silent as to what occurred in the war. Many have written his story, but he has been aloof from attempts to have him put down his recollections of that turbulent time. Now, with a surprising change of his mind, he decides that there is one story that needs to be told. It is the story of his discovery of the weapon that would win the war, and the thanks he owes to his best friends, and his great mentor, for that discovery. This was intended as a one-shot, but it quickly grew to be unmanageably long, so it is chaptered. I hope you enjoy the recollections of an elderly Harry Potter, and please read and review.

There’s only one thing missing in their seventeen year marriage, as far as that last couple is concerned. A baby. Victor Krum had been told that being a Seeker wasn't just speed, skill and nerve. A good Seeker had to be able to see things before his opponent did. A great Seeker had to be able to see things no one else could ever spot.
He still writes to her, sometimes. It's a hard habit to break. [Viktor/Hermione].
Viktor Krum's father, Paris Krum, gets him out of Azkaban. Viktor Krum is tormented by his stay at the prison. He sreams in the night. They both swear revenge on the persons who put him there. However, the one they want revenge on the most is Hermione Granger.
Once upon a time, there was a boy. Now, this might not surprise you, because there have been many boys in the world, all of whom started their lives at 'once upon a time.' However, this boy happened to be very special. One day, this skinny lad received a letter, which he was not allowed to keep. You, however, know all this, and I will not attempt to lump together seven years of events in a few paragraphs. For now, we shall start from a new 'once upon a time', a time where everything finally seemed to be returning to normal after years of chaos and mayhem. It all started one beautiful October afternoon; Harry Potter was sitting on the porch of Hermione Krum's house, having a cup of tea, when a letter arrived. HP/Susan, HG/VK, NL/Padma, R/D
Hermione Weasley has gone what qualifies as a lifetime since the last time she saw Viktor Krum. Several decades, at least. What should have been a simple lunch and hour of catching up turns out not to be so simple when Hermione bumps into him at an Arithmancy conference. Relationships are always a lot more complicated when you're dealing with love lost, love gained, a few additional decades of baggage, some well-meaning but pushy relatives and friends, and your grown children, to boot. Funny, I thought being more mature meant these things got easier, not more complex... "Simon, it’s just not simple. This isn’t a fairytale." A more mature romance story with healthy doses of Viktor/Hermione, Ron/Hermione, and Viktor/Original Character.
The evening before Hermione\'s wedding to Viktor Krum, Ron realises that he\'s in love with her and always has been. Unable to accept that he\'s missed his chance, Ron devises a way to stop the wedding–by kidnapping Hermione. Needless to say, she\'s less than pleased and things don\'t go exactly according to plan. He has to convince her not to marry Krum while at the same time ensuring she doesn\'t hate him for the rest of her life. The course of true love never does run smooth.
Sometimes, loving someone just isn't enough. Sometimes, the choice everyone expects you to make isn't the right one. Sometimes the perfect couple isn't so perfect. Years after losing touch with each other, Viktor and Hermione bump into one another by chance and realize, they have more in common than being older and wiser. They both once made the same mistake, but they won't again. This time around, they know what they want, and they aren't afraid to ask for it.
While the rest of the world was at war with Voldemort, Hermione remains at war with her heart. Would she ever live to see Viktor Krum again?
Second in a series where a decision, an accident, or a random twist of fate changes the rest of the story. The war’s over, life is a lot more ordinary these days, and Harry and his friends are all grown up and married. Ginny and Neville, Harry and Hannah, Ron and Susan, Viktor and Hermione. There’s only one thing missing in their seventeen year marriage, as far as that last couple is concerned. A baby. It seems that using magic to help begin a life, like ending it, is no feat to be taken lightly. When the others set out to offer a bit of assistance, they find that the best laid plans don’t always go right. Too Much Of A Good Thing: If some is good, a whole lot is even better, right? Sometimes a little help can go an awfully long way...

When temptation heats up between these friends (and rivals, for that matter) it becomes difficult to resist seduction. H/C, H/D, H/G, D/G, R/Hr, V/Hr

Set during Hermione's final days at Hogwarts and after. Hermione realizes that a mistake she made in the past could effect her decisions (and her life) in the future. Friends are reunited, jealousy ignites sparks, a few cat fights ensue, the excitement of a rousing Quidditch match, and random snogging in the most unlikely places! Join Hermione on her journey towards growing up and learning to live on her own in the Wizarding World. ``In this first chapter you get a bit of giggly third years (okay more than a bit), a brief Hermione/Viktor flashback, and a magazine that contains some insightful information...
This is possibly my first and only true ficlet, a very fast read that sprouted from the following challenge at the L.O.F.F. Guild, where Lady Theresa asked us to write a fic containing a letter from Viktor to his parents, on the subject of Hermione, written during GOF. Have him outline the pros and cons of this girl as he sees them. Short, sweet, and written with an eye toward being compliant with my Past Present Universe, although it can be read alone. Viktor writes to let his parents know that he's decided to do something that probably won't sit well with his Headmaster, but really, it's Mama and Papa's fault in the first place.
A series of ficlets, detailing days in the lives of our favorite HP characters: Harry, Remus, Severus, Hermione, and so on. Read to find out more!
Viktor's on "furlough" from the Order; he and Hermione engage in a bit of the old nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Or at least, they try to. Problem is, Harry and Ron are particularly dense about reading between the lines and figuring out what all the nudging and winking mean. Viktor and Hermione are simply trying to catch some time alone, and frankly, subtlety is getting them nowhere. But the two of them are nothing if not clever and resourceful! Featuring a very knowing Neville, a slightly strangled Ginny, an extremely naive Harry and Ron, and a very randy (but still very levelheaded) Viktor and Hermione. Rated R for severe comic naughtiness and wicked innuendo. We all knew there was something missing from the Hogwarts curriculum.
Just how did Viktor Krum ask Hermione to the Yule Ball? This fic explains everything, and find out exactly why it was a huge mistake.
The Yule Ball wasn't too happy for the Golden Trio. What might have happened if Harry hadn't stormed off with Ron, but stayed behind to comfort Hermione? Based off the GoF movie.
Our Viktor is such a modest, self-effacing lad: you might not know it, but he's been interesting since the day he was born...
Hermione and Ron know that Ginny has been in love with Harry for years. So they decide to do something about it, and then end up falling in love themselves! Includes Viktor Krum (of course), and a little Fleur Delacour action as well, plus the fun and joy involved in a Weasley family Christmas celebration. All Weasleys present and accounted for!
AU! Story told in Viktor's view, starts in the fourth year. Viktor falls in love with Hermione...and she likes him too. But what happens when that love borders on obsession? What happens when he is rejected? Story extends until the end of fifth year.
Another small sequel to Past Present, which takes place chronologically between Past Present and Waiting. After fifth year ends, Viktor is spending part of the summer in the Granger household. Problem is, even the most innocent questions can be hard to answer when you’re a wizard trying to pass yourself off as a Muggle. A short fic featuring a curious neighbor, uncomfortable questions galore, some double-edged answers and a very temperamental toaster.
She died heroically, of course, fighting evil, but the reality for Viktor was that she was dead, that the haunting Requiem mass would always ring in his ears. The tale of Hermione's funeral, and the remembrances of a very embittered young man.
Viktor Krum dumps Hermione for Pansy Parkinson. Of course, Hermione is very sad...
Viktor Krum never was one to revel in posing, primping, preening, being fawned or drooled over, or generally being manhandled and treated like a piece of meat by the so-called "fairer sex" that count themselves among his fandom. He's not much on being photographed or answering the same old questions or having his private life pried into, either, thanks very much. So when he gets *cough* volunteered by a certain bushy-haired fiancee to participate in a fundraiser for St. Mungo's that involves all of the above and then some... Let's just say Hermione will be needing to "express her gratitude" a great deal to make up for this.
Viktor Krum observes his fellow Tri-Wizard Tournament Competitors just after they have been picked from the Goblet of Fire.
Hermione is getting married...but not if Ron has anything to say about it...
A prequel to the “Best Laid Plans” series. When Viktor is injured during a Quidditch match, he seems determined to prove the old saying that great athletes make terrible patients. Between dealing with the injury, the Healers, and each other, Viktor and Hermione find that the people you love the most can also drive you the craziest. A broken leg can be a pain. Sometimes, so can the patient...
Set after the Yule Ball. Hermione goes up to bed, and after finding Ginny there, they get talking about Harry, Ron, Krum, and the seaside.
A flashback to Neville and Ginny’s wedding in my Best Laid Plans universe. On the big day, Ginny is a bit nervous, so Hermione offers a bit of “old married lady advice”, including why marriage can be just as rewarding as it can be infuriating. Also, a bit on the side about the penchant Viktor and Hermione have for making other people’s weddings more interesting, as referred to in the other BLP stories.
Harry and Ron have saved Hermione once; now they are trying to do it again.
Hermione had always loved New York.
Hermione is stressed out over her relationship status with Viktor. What will she do?
Interestingly enough, another Ball is to be held at Hogwarts, and Ron's attention keeps returning to the same bushy haired know-it-all. Based on the song "Kiss Me Again" by Toby Keith.
Ron likes Hermione and plans to ask her! BUT one big problem! Krum's come and asked her out already! What will happen next?!
As Hermione attempts to write a letter to Viktor, Ron's presence proves to be an annoyance and a revelation.
Putting off studying for his O.W.L.s, Ron plays chess with his armless Krum action figure. The stakes? Whoever wins gets Hermione (or Hermioninny). A fluffy missing moment from OOTP.
Everyone gets replaced. It’s the first lesson you learn on the Quidditch pitch, and the last one to sink in, if you’re lucky. Even the best Seeker ever. Even Viktor Krum. After a bit of time to reflect, Viktor writes a letter on being replaced. “I told myself that Hermione and I would go to dinner, or maybe just eat in at the hotel so I could have a good old fashioned sulk in peace, and it would all look better in the morning. Or at least the wound would be a little less fresh. Problem is I didn’t expect to get replaced twice in one day. Once is not so bad. Twice can knock you for a loop. When one of the people replacing you is your wife… well, someday maybe you’ll understand why that can knock a man totally off balance...”
He couldn't be here. He just couldn't. He belonged to her old life, the one she left behind a million years ago, and his being here would throw everything out of balance.
Ron finds Hermione writing a letter to Viktor. He starts a row with her (again), but this time Hermione is a little more aggressive...
Tonks has something of a crush – and she’s less than thrilled about it.
I had a few people that liked my take on the Krum-Hermione situation. This could be a scene from after the letter he sent in "Always The Last To Know."
Ron and Hermione always fight, but this time their fight doesn't end in the usual way. Thankfully, Ron gets some unexpected advice and a chance to start again.
As Hermione continues her stand on House-Elf rights, something very surprising happens that sends her emotions spiraling in a direction she didn't even know existed, starting with a question and ending with flowy blue dress robes.
Ron has come to save Hermione from a nasty encounter with Viktor Krum! What's the best way to save her? Duel! Set in the summer after fifth year.

Hawk, you brave bird, what did you see as you flew over Pirin Mountain? Did you meet our young hero, our leader?``Another verse in the epic ballad of the life and times of Viktor Krum which answers the musical question "Why does he walk like that?"
A story about the quidditch world cup of 1999. Concerns Oliver Wood, Viktor Krum, Katie Bell, and as many quidditch players as I can muster up. Some slash in later chapters. Read to find out more!
Based after Ron & Hermione's argument after the Yule Ball in Gryffindor common room. Ron experiences emotions he's never quite had to deal with before, and lashes out his frustration on his miniature Krum figure.
Set during Goblet of Fire, before Yule Ball. Viktor asks Hermione to the Yule Ball. My version of the kiss scene that will be in the movie.
Realizing the mistake that he had made, Draco decides to go back on his deal with Harry. He confronts Hermione again, and finally, she decides who she really wants to be with. Sequel to Not Just a Game.
Viktor Krum's thoughts as he prepares for a match.
Hermione listens to a song and it feels as if it is being sung to her, about her. And she reflects upon her past relationship with a certain Quidditch superstar.
Hermione has a dream. Instead of her walking down the stairs at the Yule Ball it's Ron. He has the grace of a panther and all of the ladies are swaying like daisies in the wind.
Hermione and Ron are meant to be together, but will they forever miss their chances to be together? Ron already has, and seems to have given up forever (see my fic A House That Might Have Been). Will Hermione have the courage to voice her feelings for a second time, or will she marry Krum? Sweet companion piece to A House That Might Have Been.
He's not entirely sure why he's here, at her funeral. They haven't been in contact for years. He simply saw the obituary and, on a whim, jotted the date down on his calendar — and now here he is, standing awkwardly at the outskirts of the crowd of mourners, not sure why he's here at all and watching the red-haired man approach.
What was Hermione thinking when she was asked to the ball? What if Krum and Neville weren't the only ones to "spot her as a girl"? A missing scene fic from Hermione's 4th year. Very slight Hr/R. Companion piece to A Spark of Gryffindor Courage.
Viktor Krum has just moved into the most expensive block of Muggle real estate in London, and Hermione Granger wants to find out why. Viktor/Hermione, oneshot.
