Unspoken Love...

Hermione Granger. Today was supposed to be the best day of her entire life. Viktor Krum and her had been going out off and on since her 4th year at Hogwarts. He was handsome, talented, and was the first boy she ever knew that didn't just see her as a know-it-all bookworm, or just another one of the guys. And she loved him dearly for that. She always wondered why none of the boys at Hogwarts ever wanted to date her. She always thought that there was something wrong with her. But when Viktor came into her life, she saw that she had it all wrong. She realized that there was somebody out there that would, and actually wanted to date her. But what she didn't know was the real reason no one ever dated her a Hogwarts...

But that didn't matter today, because today was the day that she became Mrs. Hermione Granger-Krum. And in her mind the luckiest woman in the world...

"If anyone wishes these two people not to be joined in Holy Matrimony, speak now. Or forever hold your peace..." The priest recited. There was a brief pause.

Hermione looked up into her soon-to-be-husband's eyes and he smiled at her...

But suddenly they were interrupted by someone running down the aisle screaming, "Hermione! Hermione! Wait!!"

Everyone in the Church somehow grew quieter than he or she already was. Everyone's eyes where on the man standing in the middle of the aisle. His face grew redder than his red hair. And Hermione recognized him at once.

"Ron?" she asked in disbelief, "I thought you couldn't come!!" She hadn't seen Ron since the day they left Hogwarts in their 7th year. He decided that he wanted to go and help out his brother Charlie who studied dragons in Romania. They still wrote to each other and kept in touch.

"Ron!?" a man yelled coming up behind Ron, "Ron! Did you make i..." The man stopped and looked around. He cleared his throat, "Umm, Uh...Hi everyone...! Lovely wedding isn't it?" the man asked nervously.

"Harry!?" Hermione asked. Ron was a surprise, but seeing Harry and him together put her in a state of complete shock. Him too Hermione hadn't seen since she left Hogwarts. And like her and Ron they kept in touch by owl as well. Last thing Hermione knew, Harry had become an Auror. She remembered in one of his letters that he said he figured it would be the best job for him. Since he wouldn't need much training because of all he's experience with Voldemort. "I thought that you two couldn't make it?!"

"Whoa!" Harry said looking in even more shock than Hermione was, "Mione? Is that you?!"

"Answer my question first!!" she laughed.

"Well umm...I...well...yeah...er..." he said looking at Ron, "It's just well...I...I mean we came to tell you something and yeah...Ron the floor is yours..." Harry took the nearest seat.

"Ummm...thanks Harry for the introduction..." Ron said glaring at Harry. He smirked at him.

"Well Mione..." Ron said, "When you wrote me telling me that you were marrying Krum I was...well...ummm..."

"Yes...?" she asked bewildered, still holding Viktor's hands.

"Devastated..." Harry answered for Ron. He knew he could answer that question better than Ron could. He continued, "Upset, overwhelmed, sorrowful...and other synonyms for sad..."

"HARRY!!!" Ron yelled. He's ears growing pinker by the second.

"Vot are you trying to say Von?" Krum asked getting a little impatient and nervous.

"Shut up Krum!" Ron yelled pointing and suddenly turning is attention to Viktor.

Viktor gave Ron a look of confusion. Then looked at Hermione as if she would probably know what was going on.

"I have spent to many years looking at you and Hermione..." Ron said taking a few steps forward, "You being able to hold her, hug her, comfort her, kiss her..." He's voice trailed off as he closed his eyes, apparently it still hurt him to think about it...

"RON!?" Hermione said trying to stop him so they could continue on with the ceremony.

"No Hermione..." he said as he took a few more steps forward, " Hear me out before it's to late..."

Hermione could have sworn she saw a tear roll down his cheek. And this caused her eyes to water too. She felt like she could have slapped Ron right then and right there for ruining her wedding. But something was stopping her; she oddly wanted to her what Ron had to say...

"Hermione, I love you," he said. Small little gasps broke out among the crowd of people sitting in the pews. Ron noticed for the first time that they were watching.

"Hell of a time to tell me don't you think Ron...!?" She said trying to keep the tears from rolling down her cheeks as well. Everyone in the audience turned his or her heads back to Ron. Harry noticed this and it reminded him of one of those Muggle Ping-Pong matches.

"Herm, you have no idea how many times I wanted to tell you, every time I wrote you back I wanted to tell you. But somehow my hand would only write 'Love, Ron'."

Hermione didn't say anything to this she just started at him.

"When you told me you were getting married I knew that I had to come and stop you from making the worst mistake of your life..."

Hermione couldn't hold back her tears anymore and they rolled down her cheeks. But she just brushed them away.

"I know you've wondered Hermione," Ron said, "why no one at Hogwarts never asked you out..."

Hermione could believe it, how did he know that it bothered her?

"And I know that upset you,"

"Alright..." Hermione thought, "Now I know he's using some sort of mind reading trick he learned in Divination..."

"And, I think I played a small part in that," he explained. "You see when we went to Hogwarts, every night before we went to bed I would remind the guys. I would tell them that you were mine, that you were off limits, and that someday I would tell you the way I felt..."

"Its true!" said Seamus standing up, "He reminded us every night...! And if he forgot he would wake us up and tell us!"

"Yeah I remember it too!" Dean said standing up.

Hermione couldn't believe it. Ron caused her all that pain. Ron was the one that told everyone that she wasn't to be touched. She was mad at him, until she remembered all of the feelings she had about him. All of the feelings she sat aside because she blamed them over her girlish hormones. She thought it wasn't possible that she could fall for her best friend. She never told Ron those feelings either. She was afraid that he would laugh at her...

Then it hit her...she really didn't love Viktor. She just liked him because he was the first to see her as a girl. She realized that she about to make a huge mistake. But what would she tell Viktor? She didn't want to leave him at the alter.

Suddenly she felt torn in two, what was she going to do?

She felt Viktor squeeze her hand, and she looked up at him.

"Hermione," he smiled, "I think we should see ovther people..."

Hermione heart suddenly lifted she smiled at him.

"Are you sure?" she asked almost afraid that he would say 'no'.

He nodded and let go of her hands, "He needs you more than I do..." he said looking over at Ron. Hermione could have sworn that he laughed.

She jumped up and rapped her hands around his neck hugging him tightly, "Thank you Viktor, I will never forget you..." she whispered in his ear.

"Go on..." he said smiling widely.

Hermione ran down from the alter into Ron's open arms, "Ron!" she yelled. Almost closed to tears.

"Hermione..." Ron said breaking away from their hug, "You have no idea how long I have been wanting to do this..."

"What...?" Hermione asked.

He smiled at her ignorance, as he brushed her hair away from her face and leaned down and kissed her.
