Voldemort seems to have died. But a characteristic property of many events occurring both in the wizarding world and the Muggle world is that things aren't always what they seem. The moment Draco Malfoy was branded with the Dark Mark, Voldemort discreetly placed a curse on him which would allow Voldemort to possess Draco Malfoy should he die. His last resort should his Horcruxes, in the unlikely event, fail to save him. Now Draco/Voldemort's evil is becoming more and more apparent, signs and strange events only hinting at Harry, and the wizarding world's, ultimate fate.

Little does he know that it wasn't destroyed and the broken soul of Voldemort dwells within it. It eventually possesses him and causes him to become Tom Riddle. Can Harry, Hermione, and Ginny save Ron before he is lost forever? Or will the world once again fall under the grip of the Dark Lord?

Hermione wakes up to a reality that isn't her own. Where is she? How did she get here? She wants the answers now and she will do all it takes to get them. But as she discovers glimmers of the truth, darkness swallows them up and Hermione is left to dream. Dream of the light and dream of a better future.
