I always wondered how Lupin reacted to Sirius' "Throwing Snape to the wolf" -so to speak. This is my interpretation. Oh, and I made the teeeeeny assumption that they're lovers, because I love my slashy boys!

"Harry!" I scream and I quickly grab the boy before he goes right in after him. I'm saying words although they don't make much sense, all I can think is that I have to hold him. He hits me again and again in his struggle, beating against my chest as he tries to break free. It was instinct, I think. I certainly don't remember using any strength to hold him back - even though I remember him struggling so fiercely against me. Then again, I've always been strong. It's part of my nature. Remus spends a moment alone after Sirius' death.
