How could it have come to this? How did we fall so far? It is the day after Christmas, and while the rest of the world is returning to normalcy after the holiday, one man isn't feeling very cheerful. The holidays have only allowed him to remember the pain and loss of the previous year, though he tries desperately to forget those memories. But as a fresh blanket of snow has covered the ground, he decides to take a walk to clear his mind, and at the same time, he decides to take a chance; he allows himself to just remember.

Sirius has come to accept one life when he is back in Grimmauld Place. He knows that he is supposed to be nothing but the perfect pureblooded Black his parents expect him to be. But he cannot accept what he is supposed to be and what he is supposed to become...

He had thirteen years to ponder love, but it took him fifteen to realise it: The tenderest part of love is to forgive each other.
