Shamelessly AU, and possibly one of the strangest tales I've ever written. What if Remus was arrested by the Ministry, that night he attacked Snape in the Shrieking Shack? This story follows a *very* different series of events, in which Remus was the one imprisoned, and Sirius the one on the outside... (Slash implied.)

With friendship on the line Remus and Sirius talk to try and fix things before the void that has been created between them is turned into a vast cavern. Rather than run away, Remus realizes that discussion is the only way to make things right.
