Laocoon's Children: Year 3 by samvimes
08/16/2006Laocoon's Children is an alternate-universe fic based on the events of an earlier fic, Stealing Harry. In Stealing Harry, Sirius was never imprisoned in Azkaban and abducted Harry from the Dursleys when he was eight years old. Laocoon's Children takes up the story during Harry's first year at Hogwarts, where he made fast friends with Neville Longbottom, Padma Patil, and Draco Malfoy. Harry's gang also reunited for their second year, where they faced a basilisk, a homicidal diary, and Draco's mother's betrayal. In year three, Harry must face many new problems: protecting Draco from his father, dealing with their new Dark Arts professor, and standing firm against the aura of fear that is pervading the wizarding world.
