Challenge Response, written before HBP. Having been taken from the Dursleys' early, Harry is brought to Hogwarts where he learns a surprising secret about his mother and Narcissa Malfoy. A secret that will affect the course of the war and provide him with the key to the power the Dark Lord knows not.

The fifth year for the Marauders is an exciting one: they become animagi, Sirius plays a famous joke on Snape, and Lily and James get together (I know they didn't really get together until seventh year). By the time Harry Potter is 15, two Marauders are dead at the hands of Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and one is Voldemort's right-hand man. The only one that remains (and is still loyal to Dumbledore) is Moony, but he is a werewolf! He can't even get a job. I wrote this fanfic to keep all four Marauders (and Lily Evans) alive forever and loyal to Dumbledore (although Peter is in-between here). Enjoy!

By the Moonlight is a story about Lily's desicion to keep her friends close, or listen to her heart. Jade, Lily's friend, happens to be going out with Remus while Lily falls for him. The marauders have been planning secrets and Lily has to be in the middle of all the chaos.

"I remember my sister, yes I do. I remember her long, red hair and her green eyes. I remember how she was popular and how she could be so excited about everything."

People go to long lengths to hide things. Keeping secrets is a part of humanity even if secrets can keep people from living... "I wanted to be there for my son for everyday of my life. He'll hate me, you know, for leaving him."

Inspired by DH and REM's Everybody Hurts. Severus fixes his gaze on those green eyes and finds what it is to live. My tribute to my favourite and most loved character.
