What would it feel like, to confront two people who had tried to murder you, in the very place where you had so nearly died - in order to save three children who would despise you for doing so?

Harry has a serious problem and has lost everything he once used to love. A single white feather is the last remaining thing he can confide in. Many deep, disconcerting questions constantly nag at his conscious mind - there is no hope left.

A woman attempts to force Lord Voldemort to stop the hostile and senseless killings--a woman who is, and has always been, happily untouched.

She screams and screams for help, and she cries, and holds him, but in the end he is dead. And when she wakes up she cries, because she remembers.

Harry can't handle the joy of Bill and Fleur's Wedding -- he can only see the futility of it all, with the new war upon them. Hermione escapes to the Americas but is detained in a wizarding mental facility for women where they try to erase emotion and remake the person into a good member of society. Hermione relates the genocides of Britain to others in the past and reveals that maybe the treatment that was originally quite good is maybe not as good as they originally thought.
