Written for hd_remix 2007, for mizbean's story "Walk On." Mostly because I loved it, but also in part because I have a huge soft spot for Harry/Ron, even when Harry/Draco is the OTP ;)

During the summer before his sixth year at Hogwarts, Draco's whole world falls apart. His mother is killed, and he is left alone to cope with the devestation that this brings. He has decided he has nothing left to live for, but can he be persuaded otherwise?
