Christmas, 1983: a seventh-year Kiora leaves Hogwarts to be forgotten, taking refuge in the elite nameless ranks of Tom Riddle's Unmarked Army. Halloween, 2003: Harry Potter defeats Lord Voldemort in the final stand. The entirety of the wizarding world celebrates. All is relatively peaceful until Halloween, 2007, when Tom Riddle loses control of his puppet and the unmarked army is turned over to the Order of the Phoenix by the new Dark Lord.

The Hogwarts' trio has a mystery on their hands. The phoenix, Fawkes, is distressed, and the three students find out more than they bargain for. The mystery involves time in the Library and the Forbidden Forest (to Ron's joy!)
