'It takes only one spell, Severus,' he said menacingly, 'I believe you know the two words.'...'Ah, there you have it, Severus,' he said as he stared down at Snape. Remus has trouble speaking his feelings but after Sirius' death it's dangerous for him to keep things bottled up. So he writes in his diary, all the thoughts and feelings he went through before, during and after the fatal fight at the Ministry. He feels bitter, angry and guilty. But gradually he'll get over Sirius', and be able to carry on his life again just like his friends would have wanted.

They are coming. As an army of Death Eaters led by Voldemort himself march on Hogwarts, the remnants of the school prepare for a last stand, pledging to win their freedom or die trying.

When Harry resumes his Occlumency lessons with Professor Snape in sixth year he finds out he is not the only one having to deal with the pain of war. Sometimes the most humane and human thing to do is comfort the one your with. Could be seen as HP/SS if you look hard enough.

Cuts can happen for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they happen because we are careless, sometimes they are inflicted by others, and sometimes they happen because we need to kill the pain.

Harry takes out Sirius' mirror one last time.

"Harry!" I scream and I quickly grab the boy before he goes right in after him. I'm saying words although they don't make much sense, all I can think is that I have to hold him. He hits me again and again in his struggle, beating against my chest as he tries to break free. It was instinct, I think. I certainly don't remember using any strength to hold him back - even though I remember him struggling so fiercely against me. Then again, I've always been strong. It's part of my nature. Remus spends a moment alone after Sirius' death.
