Viktor Krum's father, Paris Krum, gets him out of Azkaban. Viktor Krum is tormented by his stay at the prison. He sreams in the night. They both swear revenge on the persons who put him there. However, the one they want revenge on the most is Hermione Granger.

Once upon a time, there was a boy. Now, this might not surprise you, because there have been many boys in the world, all of whom started their lives at 'once upon a time.' However, this boy happened to be very special. One day, this skinny lad received a letter, which he was not allowed to keep. You, however, know all this, and I will not attempt to lump together seven years of events in a few paragraphs. For now, we shall start from a new 'once upon a time', a time where everything finally seemed to be returning to normal after years of chaos and mayhem. It all started one beautiful October afternoon; Harry Potter was sitting on the porch of Hermione Krum's house, having a cup of tea, when a letter arrived. HP/Susan, HG/VK, NL/Padma, R/D

Hermione Weasley has gone what qualifies as a lifetime since the last time she saw Viktor Krum. Several decades, at least. What should have been a simple lunch and hour of catching up turns out not to be so simple when Hermione bumps into him at an Arithmancy conference. Relationships are always a lot more complicated when you're dealing with love lost, love gained, a few additional decades of baggage, some well-meaning but pushy relatives and friends, and your grown children, to boot. Funny, I thought being more mature meant these things got easier, not more complex... "Simon, it’s just not simple. This isn’t a fairytale." A more mature romance story with healthy doses of Viktor/Hermione, Ron/Hermione, and Viktor/Original Character.

The evening before Hermione\'s wedding to Viktor Krum, Ron realises that he\'s in love with her and always has been. Unable to accept that he\'s missed his chance, Ron devises a way to stop the wedding–by kidnapping Hermione. Needless to say, she\'s less than pleased and things don\'t go exactly according to plan. He has to convince her not to marry Krum while at the same time ensuring she doesn\'t hate him for the rest of her life. The course of true love never does run smooth.

This is possibly my first and only true ficlet, a very fast read that sprouted from the following challenge at the L.O.F.F. Guild, where Lady Theresa asked us to write a fic containing a letter from Viktor to his parents, on the subject of Hermione, written during GOF. Have him outline the pros and cons of this girl as he sees them. Short, sweet, and written with an eye toward being compliant with my Past Present Universe, although it can be read alone. Viktor writes to let his parents know that he's decided to do something that probably won't sit well with his Headmaster, but really, it's Mama and Papa's fault in the first place.

Viktor's on "furlough" from the Order; he and Hermione engage in a bit of the old nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Or at least, they try to. Problem is, Harry and Ron are particularly dense about reading between the lines and figuring out what all the nudging and winking mean. Viktor and Hermione are simply trying to catch some time alone, and frankly, subtlety is getting them nowhere. But the two of them are nothing if not clever and resourceful! Another small sequel to Past Present, which takes place chronologically between Past Present and Waiting. After fifth year ends, Viktor is spending part of the summer in the Granger household. Problem is, even the most innocent questions can be hard to answer when you’re a wizard trying to pass yourself off as a Muggle. A short fic featuring a curious neighbor, uncomfortable questions galore, some double-edged answers and a very temperamental toaster.

She died heroically, of course, fighting evil, but the reality for Viktor was that she was dead, that the haunting Requiem mass would always ring in his ears. The tale of Hermione's funeral, and the remembrances of a very embittered young man.

Viktor Krum never was one to revel in posing, primping, preening, being fawned or drooled over, or generally being manhandled and treated like a piece of meat by the so-called "fairer sex" that count themselves among his fandom. He's not much on being photographed or answering the same old questions or having his private life pried into, either, thanks very much. So when he gets *cough* volunteered by a certain bushy-haired fiancee to participate in a fundraiser for St. Mungo's that involves all of the above and then some... Let's just say Hermione will be needing to "express her gratitude" a great deal to make up for this.

Set after the Yule Ball. Hermione goes up to bed, and after finding Ginny there, they get talking about Harry, Ron, Krum, and the seaside.

A flashback to Neville and Ginny’s wedding in my Best Laid Plans universe. On the big day, Ginny is a bit nervous, so Hermione offers a bit of “old married lady advice”, including why marriage can be just as rewarding as it can be infuriating. Also, a bit on the side about the penchant Viktor and Hermione have for making other people’s weddings more interesting, as referred to in the other BLP stories.

After a bit of time to reflect, Viktor writes a letter on being replaced. “I told myself that Hermione and I would go to dinner, or maybe just eat in at the hotel so I could have a good old fashioned sulk in peace, and it would all look better in the morning. Or at least the wound would be a little less fresh. Problem is I didn’t expect to get replaced twice in one day. Once is not so bad. Twice can knock you for a loop. He couldn't be here. He just couldn't. He belonged to her old life, the one she left behind a million years ago, and his being here would throw everything out of balance.
