Worthy / Faithful by jenn_kei
10/04/2005A fic about the intricacies of the relationship between Sirius and Bellatrix Black and the intoxicating blend of blazing passion and icy disdain, the inherent freedom of release, tainted by a bitterly necessary restraint. Sirius and Bellatrix second-guess each other, never thinking that they will gain true acceptance from the other -- when in reality, the lustre of a black opal reveals all.
Rodolphus hates to see his princess cry.

Memories by SarcasticMyth
09/09/2008"Late at night, she thinks of her." - Molly and Bellatrix remember.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry sits high, overlooking a lake in an isolated part of the countryside. ``At night, the lake looks black in the moonlight, like blood does, and the windows open like eyes with candlelight behind them. From the outside, you can circle the castle and find the windows of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, but you will not see Slytherin. They are reached through the dungeons. (One scene that embodies exactly what Slytherin House is. Set in the James Potter years. Rated what it is basically because it's a little creepy.)

Tapestry by Ariana Malfoy-Lestrange
09/21/2004Sometimes, when I’m bored, or at another pointless Death Eater meeting, I think about that tapestry, the one in my aunt Black’s home. I remember the feel of it - it was soft, and the gold threads were so intricately woven, so perfect, it seemed. Of course, there were its flaws- the small burned names, and little holes, but other than that it really was very lovely. I remember, when I was a small child, tracing my index finger along the gold line that seemed to run forever…forever, and forever, for all eternity.

Retribution by Marla Klusmeyer
10/13/2004Her breathing was fast and shallow, filled with anticipation and excitement. Nothing else could arouse her anymore – not after Azkaban. How long had it been? She honestly didn’t know. She had been there for centuries, it seemed. The Dementors had fed on her, on her memories. On the stream of pain which had once flown from her wand. But they had given her something back, to hold on to, to survive. Now it was all that was left of her. It would carry her for another day - another kill.
Someone remembers Bellatrix in a different light. One-shot.
