Voldemort seems to have died. But a characteristic property of many events occurring both in the wizarding world and the Muggle world is that things aren't always what they seem. The moment Draco Malfoy was branded with the Dark Mark, Voldemort discreetly placed a curse on him which would allow Voldemort to possess Draco Malfoy should he die. His last resort should his Horcruxes, in the unlikely event, fail to save him. Now Draco/Voldemort's evil is becoming more and more apparent, signs and strange events only hinting at Harry, and the wizarding world's, ultimate fate.

Set one year after the Epilogue, the golden trio are happy in the new world without He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Ron kept the locket Horcrux that was previously thought to be destroyed, and wears it around his neck like a memento. Little does he know that it wasn't destroyed and the broken soul of Voldemort dwells within it. It eventually possesses him and causes him to become Tom Riddle. Can Harry, Hermione, and Ginny save Ron before he is lost forever? Or will the world once again fall under the grip of the Dark Lord?

Harry does what he must do. The ever cliched final battle takes place. But what happens after the battle? Harry falls into a deep coma, and mysterious things take place to other members of the Order.
