“So, you’re saying,” said Sirius, clearly enjoying James’ discomfort, “that if I turned around right now and kissed some guy you’d be fine with it?” – Dinner time. A Ravenclaw is gay, the Gryffindors get some interesting entertainment and a Slytherin makes a serious mistake... (R/S)

“You know Remus, dreams are useful things. Here you have me, completely under your control. You could make me disappear just like that,” Sirius snapped his fingers, “... or you can find out exactly what it would be like if I kissed you right now.” - Remus dreams and decides it’s finally time for him to make a move. “I like you,” he repeated. “In a... different way than as a friend.” - Sirius questions Remus. Remus reveals all. (R/S)

“Back in the Common Room, Remus sat down heavily on a chair. How long could he go on pretending nothing had happened and avoiding Sirius? The fact was something had happened and it wasn’t suddenly going to become untrue, no matter how much Remus wished it.” - Embarrassed, Remus avoids Sirius. (R/S)

“Then it all suddenly clicked into place. I was attracted to you.” - Sirius and Remus finally talk. Revelations and confessions are made. (R/S)

“That was more than a little strange,” said James frowning. “It’s the Slytherins, I just know it.” He punched a fist into his palm. “That’s it! They must’ve spiked his drink with something tonight... oh, wait ‘til I get them, they’ll pay, those slimy gits...” - Sirius is acting a bit oddly. Remus is possessive. James and Peter are very confused. (R/S)

“Laughter echoed through the stone corridors as pupils milling about poured onto the pristine snow in a blur of colour, and those who preferred to curl up by the roaring fires allowed themselves to be dragged along anyway.” - The Christmas Spirit descends upon Hogwarts. There’s a confrontation with Snape and the Marauders have fun in the snow. (R/S)

“How would he explain it? What would he answer? He didn’t even know himself. He didn’t know why it had all happened. It just had.” - Remus and Sirius decide to confess. Peter is confused. James is jealous. (R/S)

Summary, Chapter Eleven: “Remus could see James missed Sirius, but the idiot was too damn stubborn to fix things himself. Ever since he had learnt of Sirius and Remus’ relationship he had been avoiding the both of them, speaking to them only when absolutely necessary and throwing them dirty looks when doing so.” - James is stubborn, Remus feels guilty and Sirius misses James. “Fine then,” sighed Sirius, “drastic measures will have to be taken.” And he took out his wand. “Remus, you are bloody well going to dance with me or I will personally see to it that you are cursed most severely.” - The Ball gets underway. (R/S)
