Hogwarts, Halloween: two months have now passed and the first attempt is made to get to the Sorcerer's Stone. Jude has a chat with Hagrid about Fluffy and Snape suspects someone. The only thing they know for sure is that someone is stepping up the efforts to get to Harry.

Something evil lurks in the forest and Jude learns that it isn't always the usual suspect. Chapter Eleven begins the wrapping up of events of Rowling's 'The Sorcerer's Stone'.

A turn of events puts Jude in an impossible situation. Some one wholly *expected* walks into the room and the curtain goes up on the drama. Climactic scene of 'Sorcerer's Stone' with a twist.

The struggle to keep the Stone from falling into the wrong hands may cost more than Jude anticipated. The ending of 'The Sorcerer's Stone' with an AU twist--an original character has been caught up in the events between good and evil. Her choice: one life in exchange for another. Someone will not make it out alive.

It doesn't take much to make one's priorities clear--a near-death experience will usually do the job. Jude decides what is worth living for and leaves the rest behind.

The Stone incident behind her, Jude returns to Cambridge and to her paradise. Beginning her last year at university, things are the same but very different somehow. It will take a lot of convincing to persuade her to forget it all and go after the thing she truly wants--happiness.

The truth can be as devastating as lies. Jude pays the price for a secret kept.
