The Hogwarts Players Present

Okay, it's the Hogwarts Players, and they're starting their sixth year season! It isn't all Quidditch, you know; Hogwarts has some very talented thespians. Enjoy the backstage antics as well as the brilliant musical Les Miserables, starring Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy!

The show is about to start! Thanks to Hermione, we find out which songs are going to be included (isn't Hermione a great vehicle for getting that sort of info in?). Anyone who's been in a school play will recognize the backstage madness here...

The actual show begins! But does anything EVER go smoothly during a school play? Especially when you have inept actors, and certain loudmouths backstage?

Just as the subtitle suggests: Ron has a very hard time with these next few songs, as do the Hufflepuffs. Now we're getting into the more serious subject matter, and the impulse to giggle embarrassedly is just too strong.

Valjean has his big decision to make, and Daniel Radcliffe has a cameo!!! Whoop!!! Oh, and Draco gets pelted with a tomato!

This scene is so heavy, it deserves its own part. Poor Hermione, dead after twenty minutes...At least Draco gets wailed on, which takes some of the edge off.

Now the audience is getting a little fidgety (not to mention confused). As for our actors: Seamus assaults Harry, Cedric makes a pass at Ron, and Draco spits all over the orchestra. Enjoy!

Why, oh why can't Cedric hack this acting thing? Basically, this scene is a complete bust (except for Ron's performance, which is surprisingly good!)

What happens when Luna finally takes the stage? You can probably make a pretty good guess...The real question is: Who made a mention of "Macbeth"--since this show is evidently cursed :)

Finally, we reach the end of Act One! Not much more to say, really.

The first act is finished, and act two is ready to begin! Well, almost...
