A Life Half Lived

This is the second book in the trilogy about the de Lisle sisters (the first is "Once in a Blue Moon"). Here we meet Morgan Winter, the youngest sister, and an Auror.

In this chapter, Morgan's plans to visit her sister are changed when she is called into work. Once at work, she gets a nasty shock at who her partner for this mission is - Severus Snape!

Snape undergoes the torture of shopping, and Morgan sees snape in a completely new light when she rescues him from "Piers of the Wandering Hands"

Snape arrives at Morgan's home and discovers something that makes him exceedingly angry. Morgan sees a side to Snape that she never knew existed. And Snape dissaproves of Morgan's kitchen implements.

Sexual tension between Morgan and Snape grows as they make their first foray out into the social world posing as lovers. Is it only a matter of time before fiction becomes fact?

Snape and Morgan find they have more in common than they thought - and that they are enjoying each other's company. What happens, though, one hot summer afternoon when they both loose control?

Morgan takes refuge with Pilar and Remus. Remus blows up a kettle, and Pilar takes matters into her own hands.

Remus and Pilar discuss the situation - and Pilar tries to avoid telling him just who it is Morgan is in love with. Remus tries to get in a little "ravishing practice".

Morgan agrees to set up a meeting with Snape and Hawden - and then can't resist teasing Snape a little.

Morgan and Snape shock Hogwarts (in the middle of the Quadrangle!); the students have a brief conversation about their shock, and Slytherin wins a Quidditch match.

The meeting is set; and during the feast Morgan discovers something unusual about Ginny Weasley. Draco has a chat with his Aunt, and, well, things get romantic.

Morgan has a chat with Draco. Draco laerns something he would rather not. The fearful phrase "Uncle Severus" is thought.

Morgan and Snape explain some things about Slytherin to Ginny Weasley.

Ginny Weasley discovers something about Morgan and Snape - and something about herself that she would never have expected.

Morgan chats with Molly Weasley about Ginny. Snape and Morgan finallly have their meeting with Hawden, and spend some time "fumigating" her apartment.

Morgan and Snape have another of their "discussions". Morgan is emotional, Snape is sarcastic, and Morgan storms off. (You only have one guess as to where she is going!)

Morgan arrives at The Den and has a discussion with Pilar. Snape arrives the next morning and sees the puppies (sorry - babies) "au natural" as it were, and wonders why Morgan would even want one of these. Morgan and Snape talk (and other things) and resolve some issues. We hope.
