The Alternative to Loneliness

Draco Malfoy, tired of waiting for Harry Potter to notice his feelings, hires Colin Creevey to take pictures of Harry for his private collection.

Though he's not very steady on a broom, Colin takes his camera to the Quidditch Pitch for his first shoot of the unsuspecting Harry.

Draco receives his first parcel of film and orders his next.

Colin receives Draco's order for the second photo shoot. After an enjoyable hour or two in the closet with his girlfriend Luna, he begrudgingly sets out to take some "shower shots" for his employer.

Harry, who has begun to suspect something is up after catching Colin with his camera a second time, has a talk with Ron and Hermione. Meanwhile, Draco's rotten day brightens considerably when he receives his second parcel of photos. Luna sees one of the pictures from the last shoot and, rather than deny her misunderstanding, Colin doesn't say anything. In addition, he receives Draco's third order.

Colin sneaks into Harry's dorm to take his third shoot for Draco. Little does Colin know, Harry is not sleeping as he appears to be. After a talk with Ron directly after and Hermione the next morning, he decides to talk to Colin himself. Meanwhile, Colin delivers his third shoot to Draco personally and informs him that it will be his final.

With Harry looking for him, no doubt to discuss the photographs, Colin feels he has no other choice but to take refuge in the many closets of Hogwarts. But finally, desperate for something to eat besides muffins, Colin chances a visit to the Great Hall...only to find himself caught in a sticky situation when Harry shows up.

Since Harry is now aware of the Slytherin's feelings, Draco decides that he will show just how serious he is about his confession. And though Colin has broken off the arrangement with Draco, he finds himself once again involved.

Spurred on by Harry's reaction to his advances (before eventually running off, that is), Draco continues to show how he feels.

Seeing Colin distress over his impossible task and his lack of sleep, Luna offers her help.

After Colin's photoshoot with Draco, the Slytherin gives him a few words of advice. The next day, while delivering his parcel to Harry, the small boy stands up for himself.

Luna helps Colin prepare for his next photoshoot, which is to be on broomstick. After the photoshoot, Draco has some instructions for Colin, which will hopefully help further his plan to win Harry's heart.

Draco takes Harry out for a private dinner on one of Hogwarts' balconies.

Discouraged by Harry's reluctance to snog unless in private, Draco tells him that he isn't looking for somebody to snog in corners with, but somebody to be a couple with. After a talk with Colin and realizing his feelings for Draco, Harry asks one more favour of the small Gryffindor.

With Colin and Luna's help, Harry prepares his answer for Draco, hoping that it's not too late.

With all the photoshoots having come to an end, Colin thought he would have some peace. However, his nightmares have just become worse and Luna determines that she will cure him.

After Draco's row with Blaise at the Slytherin table, Harry realizes how difficult being with Draco will be, and not just for them.

After being told that they can't all sit at the Slytherin table together, Luna suggests a quintuple date. That Saturday, Draco, Harry, Colin, Luna, Blaise, Seamus, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Mary all gather together for a dinner party.
