Hermione Granger and the Two Lovers

Hermione, Ron and Harry are in their final year at Hogwarts. Hermione is depressed over a recent break up with Harry and turns to Ron for comfort.

Hermione, Ron and Harry are in their final year at Hogwarts. Hermione is recovering from a recent breakup with Harry and turns to Ron for support.

Hermione Breaks down and cries on the train and Ron comforts her.

Hermione and Ron ride to the castle in the carriages and kiss.

Hermione, Ron, and Harry arrive at Hogwarts and the new students are sorted.

Hermione and Ron retreat to the common room. Hermione cries. Ron comforts her.

Ginny confronts Hermione. Hermione goes to the library to clear her mind.

Hermione overhears Draco's conversation with his father.

Hermione tells Dumbledore what she heard Draco say in the Great Hall. She questions the safety of Harry.

Hermione tells Harry and Ron what she heard the Malfoys say. Hermione confronts Draco.

...Hermione immediately ripped her arm out of Ron’s grip.

...“I’m so sorry Hermione, for everything I said. I don’t know what I’d do if anything ever happened to you,” he whispered in her ear.

Hermione pulled away. “Ron, I can’t.”

Hermione is released from the hospital wing. Malfoy insults her. Hermione threatens Malfoy.

He was thinking of the first time he produced his Patronus. It had been with Sirius. He had saved himself and Sirius, not realizing it until many hours later, after they had gone back in time to save Buckbeak and Sirius on Dumbledore’s orders. Harry missed Sirius; she could see it in his eyes.

...Hermione looked up at Harry. She hadn’t realized how much Harry had changed since they had met on the Hogwarts Express. His shoulders had broadened and he no longer looked like the scrawny little boy she had known six years.

“Well, Hermione, your mind is ‘hopelessly mundane’, to quote Professor Trelawney. You’re meant to be with Ron,” Harry informed her.

Hermione goes to the Room of Requirement to think things over. She realizes something she's known for a long time.

...“Hermione, what’s going on?” Ron’s voice asked from behind her. Hermione stood up and turned toward him. “Seamus said something about his knickers and- Hermione? What’s wrong?” he asked, noticing the tears on her cheeks.

Hermione tells Ginny about he night with Ron. Ginny tells Hermione about Ron's feelings.

Yeah... I love you too... but you don't have to say it every night.

Ron walks with Hermione to class. They meet Malfoy along the way. Malfoy and Ron argue. (Nothing New)

“Hating people is like burning down your own house to get rid of a rat.”

...Ginny looked disgusted by Hermione’s wardrobe. She then moved to her own trunk and searched for an acceptable outfit.

Hermione and Ron have their first date. Hermione feels torn between a promise and her love for Ron.

“With all thy faults, I love thee still.”

Hermione tells her parents about Ron's proposal. The Grangers are not the happiest ducks in the pond, to say the least.

Ron catches Hermione kissing Harry. WIll this be the end of their relationship?
