A Founders story, casting Salazar, Rowena, Godric and Helga into the real events around the turn of the last millenium. Salazar plays a monk expelled from his monastery for his ability to speak Parseltongue, Godric is a wizard from the Danelaw, a dangerous person at a dangerous time, Helga is a witch captured in the north and sold into slavery far to the south, while Rowena is the wife of the powerful but Dark wizard who draws them all together. The founding of Hogwarts!
Seventh-year, continuation of Red Tide Rising. This fic continues with the story, with important contributions from smaller characters like Luna, Tonks, Charlie, twins, Neville, Morag and Blaise (girl). Also, OCs continue to develop. This first chapter is simply excellent, and I know you'll agree if you read it. Please review.
Who is Hestia Jones and why is she fighting Lord Voldemort?
When Charlie was young, Ollivander captivated him with wands. As Charlie grew, so did his love of wands. Dragons got in the way. Charlie-centric one-shot, explaining why Charlie gave Ron a wand with its core sticking out.
*Complete* Miriam Strout is an accomplished Healer - whether she wants to be or not - with good friends - generally, anyway - and a passable social life - well... So, when her ex-husband escapes from Azkaban prison, it understandably throws a wrench in her plans. Takes place in PoA, Sirius/OFC. Funny, quick, interesting, and something that fell into place very nicely without any central planning.
Neville Longbottom had a terrible memory; even Rememberalls can only tell him he's forgotten something. What happens when that something is someone important? What happens when Neville has forgotten his first friend?
A Lily-centric look at her family and her days at Hogwarts. Times weren't so tough, Petunia wasn't exactly evil, and James and Sirius get on her bad side because they're, well, eleven-year-old boys. This fic is about fun, and remaining true....
It's New Years Eve, and Dean Thomas is alone, quite unwillingingly, by choice. Dean realizes a way to deal with the demons and dreams that haunt him, now that he's the last man standing. A post-Hogwarts fic that isn't horribly depressing.
A sixth year fic, no AU. A new teacher comes to the school, which leads to some problems. Snape hates her, and she doesn't really like anyone, except herself, maybe. Hermione starts a newspaper, with proceeds to SPEW, but what's her secret? Harry discovers too much, much too fast, and nearly explodes, but instead decides revenge can be very sweet, especially against Snape... And Ron is deeply disappointed with Dumbledore, who requires him to continue Divination, even if he nearly failed the OWL, and swore he'd never listen to another tea leaf. Other little bits and pieces that fall lovingly into place (or bitterly, if you're Draco), and this first chapter sets Harry up for a difficult (but plausible) sixth year.
