The best and worst thing that ever happened to him came on his eleventh birthday, when he received an invitation to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With his heart full of hope and without really knowing who he was, he went; and there experienced the things that would eventually make him into a man. His name was Severus Snape.
