Written from a prompt on the Livejournal Serendipity challenge. Prompt: Starts out with background Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny, but both Ron & Ginny were killed in the final battle. Harry and Hermione must realize that they are meant for each other but have to overcome survivor’s guilt, etc

Continuing on in the RM/JoT Universe, everyone is now settled into their lives, secure in the feeling that nothing *else* can go wrong. Of course, something is about to. Chapter 1 sets the course, welcomes you back and lulls you into a false sense of security about the lives and loves of my favorite six. There are still some unanswered questions and there is something foul bubbling within one of the characters.

The time has come for Harry to leave for his final confrontation with Voldemort. Can Hermione say goodbye?

Hermione never accepted that Harry died after defeating Voldemort. It's a year after the day he was lost and she's still unable to cope. Why can't she seem to let him go?

Set before seventh year, Harry is still stuck with the Dursleys even though Voldemort has been defeated. Aunt Petunia says one wrong thing and sends Harry on the road to his destiny. Warning...fluffy.

An emotional Hermione left England without a word. Now she's back and trying to put her life back on track. How will Harry respond when he finds out she's back? Especially since he's the reason she left...
