A Godfather's Love (aka The Other Side of the Coin)

A twisted little plot bunny that bit me two years ago. I generally prefer the family relationship between Harry and Sirius. In this fic, however, they fall in love. However, Harry also loves Ginny here ... and though it's not easy for any of them, all end up happy. [There is even male pregnancy.]

Sirius sits down with Remus and tells him how he has come to feel about Harry, discussing what to do. Sirius finally agrees not to do or say anything until Remus says it's all right.

Sirius has an erotic dream about Harry, set the night before his (Harry's) wedding.

Remus decides to have himself and Sirius get together with Harry and his friends to speak privately ... and with luck, Sirius intends to confess his feelings for Harry in the process.

Upon Harry's return, Ginny confronts him but he manages to reassure her that his feelings for her haven't changed. They share an interlude, then later on he and Sirius get together--and during their rendezvous, Sirius has a nightmare which Harry must help him out of.

Ron, Hermione and Ginny have discussions, both with Harry and each other.

Harry and Sirius share an extraordinary interlude, one which has long-lasting effects for all concerned. Later on, during breakfast, he gets a shock when Ginny confides to him a recent dream of hers.

Harry has a discussion with Sirius during their next rendezvous regarding children, and the older man reacts predictably.

Harry and Ginny wake up with morning sickness one day and after she checks them both, they surmise that they have become pregnant--however, neither say anything until it's confirmed.

Shortly after Harry discovers his unexpected pregnancy, he shares an especially passionate night with Sirius.

The last-minute preparations for Harry and Ginny's wedding begin ... and everyone is so busy that they forget the passage of time -- until the night before.

The wedding day arrives ... but more than the wedding happens, especially between Harry and Sirius while in the changing room--and Ron is dispatched to keep Ginny busy so she doesn't take it into her head to investigate. Even at that, Ginny surmises what happened and confronts Harry after they begin their honeymoon.

Shortly after Harry and Ginny return from their honeymoon, Ron and Hermione drop in for a visit. However, someone else is planning to drop by to find out why Harry still hasn't contacted him.

Sirius makes his presence known and confronts Harry. They eventually come to an agreement and schedule a rendezvous. Meanwhile, Ginny and Hermione discuss their men--and after a time, said men go upstairs and eavesdrop. Not long after that, Ron and Hermione leave (after Sirius does) and Harry decides to have a bit of sexy fun and games with Ginny.

What happens during Harry and Sirius's next interlude, and some of Harry's thoughts concerning his and Ginny's pregnancies.

In January 2000, Harry and Ginny go to a Healer Molly knows to find out the gender of their unborn children; the woman is warned to keep the encounter secret to protect the privacy of all concerned, especially Harry.

Harry tells Sirius about their baby at the first opportunity, ending up falling asleep in his arms; upon returning to Ginny, he requests something to combat pregnancy-related fatigue.

Harry gives birth.

Harry bonds and re-bonds with all his loved ones.

Ginny gives birth to her and Harry's children.

At long last ... Harry has the family he's always dreamed of -- and if he has anything to say about it, he always will.
