Harry’s first year in Auror School and on the London Lions is marred by his memories of the war

A grown-up-with-wife-and-kids Harry is making presents for his daughters, playing with all of his kids in the yard, and enjoying life in general. Of course, this situation can't last forever or there would be no story. . . but it has a happy ending!

This is one of the ficlets that fit into the Epilogue of my novel, "The Time of Destiny" (see it and it's prequel, "The Refiner's Fire" in Schnoogle). This ficlet is set in the summer after the trio leave Hogwarts. The Weasleys are living at #12 Grimmauld Place at Harry's invitation while the Burrow is being rebuilt. Harry and Ron are beginning their education in Auror School and beginning their Quidditch careers with the London Lions. Hermione is also living at #12 at Harry's invitation, because she can't bear to live in her parents' home since they died.

Complete. Sequel to "The Refiner's Fire." Harry's Seventh Year, complete with adventure, training, snogging, hospital visits, etc. Watch for ficlets to be added from time to time to fill in missing scenes in the epilogue. Canon-based through OotP. HP/GW, RW/HG, RL/NT
