A short snippet, for a change. It's Hallowe'en, and the Fat Lady deplores the fact that so few kids nowadays keep up with the spirit of the All Hallows Eve - so she asks Nearly-Headless Nick to tell James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, and Lily a story. A ghost story, of course...

Four eleven-year-old children come to meet by chance on a rainy day in Diagon Alley, starting a friendship only eleven-year-olds can build, sharing laughter and secrets, lies and pranks, enmities and discoveries. How will this year - the most important so far in their respective lives - turn out to be? Will they have to seek adventure... or will adventure will find them first?

Lily, James, Sirius and Remus, chatting about what they will name their kids if they ever have some - a somewhat mindless piece of fluffy dialogue, in which Lily is defenitely not lucky to have such boys for friends.
