Facing the Past by Weird Roses
04/18/2004I'm a Hogwarts professor now. I have been for the past three years. I never thought, it never occurred to me, that this is what I would be doing with my life. As a child, I never thought about a life without Voldemort. He was in me, every fiber of my body, in my bones. Worst of all, he was in my mind. There was no way to get him out. Everywhere I went, every step that I took, he was with me. He didn't know, he couldn't have. I knew though, I knew what he was doing. I knew when he was inflicting pain. I knew when he was committing murder. Even if I could have gotten rid of the connection, I wouldn't have. Doing so would have changed so many things.
Harry Potter and the Subemprium Potion by Weird Roses
02/09/2003Harry's celebrating his fifth birthday the same as always. A gift from Hagrid, Ron, Hermoine, and a letter from Sirius. It's an Average Birthday as usual ... and we all know what that means. What's going on behind the scenes this year at Hogwarts? If you think we're gonna tell you in the summary, you're a march hare. We've got Sirius, Dumbledore, and the whole cast here backing our story, complete with a new Dark Arts teacher (you expected otherwise?) and some new students ... even Hogwart's first ever exchange students! With Voldemort's return, the countryside is in turmoil, running rampant with reports of missing persons and even a few panicky whispers about sightings of Dark Marks ... I'm running out of breath ... Just read it now!
