"Fred!"

Angelina Johnson slammed the door behind her. She would have been quiet ten years ago, but Fred was wide-awake now. Fred probably didn't get any sleep the night before.

Angelina wasn't keen to working overnight, but if the Ministry required it, she was always ready. Angelina played professional Quidditch for the Montrose Magpies, but had retired to spend more time with Fred.

"Fred Weasley, get down here!" Angelina said in her most patient voice. Sometimes Fred took certain said things the wrong way.

A tall skinny girl came running downstairs, rubbing her frizzy hair.

"I was sleeping."

Angelina kissed her on the cheek, "Do you know what time it is?"

The girl rubbed her frizzy brown/red hair and looked at the imaginary watch on her wrist, "It depends. I was enjoying my beauty sleep and I hadn't planned on being disturbed."

"Fred, why do you give me lip? Besides, I think you should go up there and get at least two more weeks of sleep. You don't look so beautiful."

Angelina ruffled Fred's frizzy hair.

"I got an owl from dad, he's saying that the joke shop is going well. And he says he'll see you next Tuesday. Him and Uncle George had to make a quick stop in China."

Angelina sighed.

Fred continued on, "Aunt Ginny had a baby girl and named her after Uncle Harry's mom and Nana-Molly. Aunt Hermione thinks she's having a baby boy. I received that news from Grandpa Arthur."

"It's amazing how news travels so fast in this family." Angelina sounded more sarcastic than awed.

Fred ignored her last comment, "I'm thinking about going to the platform in my pajamas and change on the train."

"Fredericka, you will not. You'll change into at least some decent clothes."

"Okay, but I'm not bathing."

"Fredericka Angelique..."

Fred held up her hand and shook her head, "You don't have to whip out the full name with me. I was only playing. You take so many things serious. You know I bath."

Angelina rolled her eyes, "Act your age and not you..."

"Shoe size," Fred finished the sentence for her.

Fred walked back upstairs mumbling. ("Seems quite silly to say something like that.")

Angelina went into the kitchen and her jaws dropped. The kitchen was...clean. She assumed Fred Sr. must have done this before he left. Just to keep Fred out of trouble.

Angelina could remember when she was pregnant with baby Fred. She and Fred Sr. joked around about naming the baby after their own selves. Eventually, it wasn't a joke. They never actually found out the sex of the baby until the day she was born. They were stuck on calling the baby Fred Jr.

Here was Fred, causing trouble. Just like her dad and uncles.

"Did you get any breakfast?" Angelina called after Fred upstairs/

Fred answered with a muffled," Mmhmm."

Angelina felt like being extremely maternal today and cook breakfast. Besides, she wasn't going to see Fred until Christmas and that was a while away.

Angelina pulled her wand out of her robes and charmed a skillet out of the cabinet, and eggs and sausage out of the refrigerator. She looked back up the stairs and smiled. There was a wrapping on the window.

Angelina took the parcel from the small brown owl, "Thank you, Monty." Angelina stroked the owl and she flew away. Angelina closed the window back and ran upstairs to give the letter to Fred.

She pushed open Fred's door and smiled, "Your dear mate has sent you an owl. I think you're..." she smiled.

Fred was asleep once again in her bed. Most of her sheets were kicked onto the floor, but she held on tightly to a huge white one.

That was the first thing ever bought for Fred. Fred Sr. had been helping with the fight of the downfall for Voldemort and things weren't looking for the best. Even though he didn't know if the baby was a boy or girl, he bought the white comforter. It was just his way of saying that at least, they would bring something pure into the world. Yes, even Fred Sr. had his serious moments.

"Fred, I'll give you thirty more minutes, then I'm going to ruin your day." Angelina whispered. She took one last glimpse of Fred sleeping peacefully.

Fredericka, always known as Fred or Fred Jr., had inherited Angelina's beauty and her father's slim figure. It was hard to even tell that Fred Sr. had anything to do with the creation of this girl, except for the natural red highlights in her frizzy brown hair and the unmistakable Weasley freckles. Angelina was grateful that they only developed on the bridge and sides of her nose. A lot of people considered them cute. Fred's most unique attraction about her was her beautiful gray eyes. Angelina figured that's what you get when you mix genes with a Weasley.

Fred had developed Fred Sr. and George's occasional knack to play pranks on everyone. She was in her seventh year at Hogwarts, Captain Seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She had constantly boasted about going out with a bang. Even Fred Sr. and Angelina had been the butt of her jokes. Fred Sr. was usually more amused with the jokes than Angelina. He had even received a few ideas from Fred for his joke shops.

Angelina remembered that she had to send a Howler to Fred the second week of school, because she somehow managed to put Dung bombs in Professor Snape's cauldron, by mistake. She thought about the last time she sent Fred a Howler, somehow Fred had managed to send fireworks all through Filch's office without even getting caught.

Angelina was always surprised to see that Fred was exceptionally good with her grades, and even managed to take her Apparition test early. Of course, Fred didn't pass, so she decided to wait until after she graduated.

Angelina went back downstairs to find the items she had charmed to be cooking, floating around the kitchen.

"Oh fine, make things a little easier on me." The items landed softly on the counter by the stove.

Fred sat at the breakfast table, enjoying her cooked dinner. It wasn't every day she got decent cooked meals. She hadn't put on her school uniforms; instead she was wearing a yellow spaghetti-strapped tank top and blue jeans with a pair of yellow flip-flops.

"Fredericka, you're going to change shoes and at least put some socks on. It's not exactly a hot summer again."

Fred ignored her mother's comment.

"Did you get your letter? I left it right beside your bed."

Fred nodded her head, failing to hide back a smile that was all so obvious.

"So, what did he say?"

Fred cleared her throat. "Mum, do I have to tell you everything personal?" There was a short pause and Fred almost choked on her orange juice. "Okay, he wanted to meet at Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters. He figured if we meet there together, we'll get seats together."

Angelina shook her head, "I don't ever remember doing that with your father."

Fred shrugged her shoulders, "Yeah, well that was in the ancient days. We are not as discreet about our relationship as you all were."

"Fred, we went to the Yule Ball together."

"So what mum, they had one of those last year. I remember going with someone else. I think we're having another one, we're bringing dress robes."

"Yeah, I know. I hope Sidney likes those pink robes. Pink brings out your eyes."

Fred smiled into her plate of bacon and eggs.

Just then, there was a huge BOOM coming from the living room.

Fred and Angelina both exchanged huge grins and jumped up from the kitchen table. They ran to the living room and stood before the fireplace, absolutely glowing.

"Dad!" Fred grabbed Fred Sr. as soon as he stepped out of the fireplace.

After being attacked by Fred, he gave Angelina a small kiss on her lips. He seemed to be in a hurry.

"You're back so soon? I thought you weren't coming back until next Tuesday." Angelina and Fred both followed him around.

Fred Sr. ran into the kitchen and grabbed a sausage from Fred's plate, "I am. Just came to wish luck to Freddy here in her seventh year. I also was hoping you would be here to. Wanted to give you this letter."

Angelina looked down at it, "Why didn't you just owl me?"

Fred Sr. winked at her. Angelina said nothing else, hoping that Fred wasn't paying attention to them. Unfortunately, she was.

She pretended to gag and Fred Sr. gave her a playful push. He sighed, "Back to China I go. They're having a lot of complaints about the Ton Tongue Toffees. I promise I'll see you next Tuesday."

At least he had time to wish Fredericka on her last year, Angelina thought.

Fred still looked discouraged. She tried her best to hide it.

Fred Sr. hated saying his loves so disappointed, "Well, it's your last year and we're going to have plenty of time in the Hogsmeade shop together."

"No, she's trying out for the Chudley Cannons. Her Uncle Ron would love to see her on the Quidditch team as much as me. I'm sure of this."

Both Fred and Fred Sr. shot Angelina dry looks with raised eyebrows.

"Ickle Ronniekins has a whole Quidditch team at home. Why would he try to take Freddy away from me?"

Fred nodded her head. "Besides, Uncle Ron has Uncle Harry. There's no way I'm getting on that team."

Angelina shrugged her shoulders.

Fred Sr. stepped into the fireplace receiving kisses from his wife and daughter, "I'll see you next Tuesday," he pointed to Angelina. "And I'll owl you Monday and see you at your grandmother and grandfather's at Christmas." He pointed to Fred.

He yelled his destination and disappeared.

Angelina didn't allow Apparating or Disapparating in the house.

Fred looked at Angelina and there was a pregnant pause.

Angelina knew what was next. She walked over to Fred and patted her back as she leaned her head on her mother's shoulder. Fred rarely got to see Fred and she hated seeing him leave. It seemed like he did that a lot.

After consoling Fred about her dad, Angelina insisted she packed everything and get ready for the Hogwarts Express. This was the stressful part of the day.

Fred had quickly used Floo Powder to tell him about meeting up, she thought that this would be easier and much faster. It did scare his younger brother when her head appeared in their fireplace.

As Angelina arrived with Fred in the Platform, she gave her the occasional speech.

The occasional speech for a prankster Weasley witch.

"I want you to enjoy your seventh year. A lot of us didn't have a good seventh year." She stopped and noticed that Harry was talking to his stepson Drake.

"Going on, I don't want you to do something crazy and cause me to send a Howler. I hope you behave in your best Fredericka Weasley fashionable. I do want you to have fun, though. Oh, make sure you don't neglect Snow."

She handed Fred the snow-white kitten that she had bought in Diagon Alley. Fred's mouth dropped open. She could've sworn Angelina had brought the cat for herself. Her toad Squirt had passed not too long ago in a nasty battle with another owl.

"I already packed your cage and food. I'm such a sneaky mum. I want you to tell Sidney hello and that I hope he enjoys his year also. Oh, and don't give Professor Longbottom such a hard time. His nerves aren't so good, okay?"

Fred wasn't really listening, but she nodded her head anyway.

Angelina smiled and watched as Fred went to go join in with a loud group of people. She noticed that Sidney was wearing a Gryffindor Head Boy badge.

She waved and Fred waved back. She held hands tightly with Sidney and they both tried to get aboard the train together.

Angelina smiled and watched as the train started to leave off.

She wasn't exactly sure if here eyes were playing games, but she could've sworn that she saw Fred and Sidney kiss.. On the lips.

"Wait!" Angelina called as the train started to move.

Fred must've hadn't seen her because she stuck her head out of her compartment window and waved overjoyed and extremely ecstatic.

"Bye mum! I promise to have a good year!"
