Author's Note:
This is a nice story. It's a change from my dark ones and I enjoyed writing it.

"Daddy!" There was a scream coming from upstairs. Ron hated these mornings, even if they did come one day out of the year. He was getting ready to take four of his six children to Hogwarts.

He couldn't believe Hermione and him had lasted so long.

He couldn't even believe he was even married to Hermione.

And there she was, pregnant with their seventh child. It wasn't as if they were exactly following in Mr. and Mrs. Weasley's footsteps, but they wanted a baby boy so badly that they were willing to have as girls as possible to get a boy.

Ron tried to calm Hermione by telling her that everything would be handled when she arrived back.

She had left to go visit Ginny after giving birth to her and Harry's second child.

Ron wasn't so sure everything was going right.

He ran upstairs to see his twins Rachel and Harmony laughing at their youngest sister Valerika. She seemed to have put chocolate frogs all over someone's school uniforms. Her laugh along with the twins' laughter was immediately silenced when Ron stood in the doorway.

Ron saw his oldest daughter JR was standing horror struck at the sight of the mess caused by Valerika. Eventually, she spoke up.

"Father, look at this mess! Do you know that I had everything set up for the morning? Look at what these pests did!"

The twins both turned and said with much indignation," We are not the pests that caused this mess."

Everyone was now looking down on Valerika.

She looked over at Ron and gave him the famous Weasley smile of charm. "How was I supposed to know the frog was going to attack her stupid old robes?"

Ron wasn't as achieved as Hermione in these situations; he did what the best he could do. "Okay then, drop it. No more arguing. JR, there are more uniforms for you to put on. Don't whine you sound like your Uncle Percy."

He ignored the shock written all over JR's face and continued on," I suggest you get some manners. At the rate you're going you'll get a Howler on your first day and kicked out the next."

He turned away from the hurt expression on Valeika's face and turned to the twins. "You two need to learn how to set an example for your smaller sisters. It's as if you two are deaf and blind with the way you let your younger sister run all over the place." Rachel and Harmony rolled their eyes.

Ron nodded his head, satisfied at his major accomplishment. Even if it wasn't exactly the best way to solve the girls' dispute.

He left the room to go check on his younger children who were still sleeping. The uproar started again and Ron decided to let them work the situation out themselves.

He went to the bedroom closest to Hermione and his. He slowly opened the door and looked at the little girl sleeping peacefully in her crib/bed.

He sighed and wondered if she was going to be as loud and rowdy as he older sisters were.

"Hi, my little Constance," he whispered.

The little girl didn't move. She only kept a small smile on her face, indicating her dream was very good at the moment.

Ron kissed her on the forehead and backed quietly out of the room.

He then proceeded to gown downstairs to check on Gertie. He always had to go on quests to find her, where she would usually be up a tree reading a book.

This time, she was at the kitchen counter reading a book called Alice in Wonderland.

"What's that you're reading?" Ron sat beside her.

Gertie held up her pointer finger to show that she would get to him in a minute. Ron watched her as she read and noticed that she bit her bottom lip. He smiled to himself and eventually Gertie marked her page and put the book down.

"It's called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland daddy. It's quite good. Alice is now in trial and the Queen wants to chop off her head! I think this one may be my favorite so far daddy!"

Ron had a look of concern," Erm... Gertrude, do you think you're old enough to read stories where Queens behead women named Alice?"

"Alice is a girl, daddy." Gertie smiled with pride at the fact that she had corrected her dad.

"Right, like that makes it any better. Are you all packed?"

Gertrude nodded her head.

" Do you have everything together? As far as your books, wand, and pet is concerned?"

She nodded her head again.

"Maybe you should go upstairs and help your twin sisters, then." Ron kissed Gertie on the forehead and turned to open the refrigerator. A loud BOOM upstairs. Both Ron and Gertie exchanged looks of horror at what happened upstairs.

Gertie jumped off her stool and followed Ron upstairs. They both froze with wide eyes at the scene before them.

JR seemed to have Harmony in a headlock, while Rachel seemed to be pulling Harmony out of JR's grasp. Valerika was sitting on one of the twins' bed with her arms folded and a huge smile across her face.

"What the..." was the only thing that escaped Ron's voice. Hermione had arrived with a slight POP and was not looking her happiest. Ron hated when Hermione was angry; She seemed to let the whole world know when she was angry.

"It's quite pathetic that I can here the lot of you quarreling while I am miles away at St. Mungo's. I want the story, the whole story, and no one will interrupt anyone." She darted her eyes over to Valerika and was satisfied that Valerika said nothing.

"Please unhand your sisters," Hermione said with a note of annoyance in her voice. JR quickly let go of Harmony and Rachel moved her hands away from JR as if she were radioactive.

"Oldest first," Hermione said with so much calmness in her voice that even Ron shivered.

JR hesitated to explain her story, but decided it was too late to escape the situation. So, she sighed and looked Hermione straight in the eyes.

"I had everything set out for the morning. Today is a busy day and I hadn't intended on playing around. Only when I do go put on my uniform, I find chocolate frog all over it. Of course, I'm not going to keep quiet about this. This is MY uniform we're talking about. I find Valerika in here with the twins, obviously boasting about what she did to my uniform. I stand my ground of course, and then there was a huge argument. I asked for dad's assistance and he comes up here, not changing the situation at all! I found out not only were they joking about my destroyed uniform but something else that was quite personal. I didn't mean to lose my temper, but you can't help it living with them." JR looked at her three sisters.

Hermione sighed," Jessica, what made you lose your temper?"

JR seemed to get even quieter than possible and she looked down at her feet.

"Well, someone's going to tell me. The only way we leave this room is if this baby comes. And we all know he isn't due for another four months."

Hermione felt Ron's body tense on the side of her.

Did she just say 'he'? Ron thought to himself. Valerika, Harmony, Rachel, and JR's eyes lit up with surprise at Hermione said.

Hermione acted as if she said nothing interesting and said quietly," I need an answer. Someone's going to tell me."

"Fine!" JR rolled her eyes," It was about a boy."

"He's a prefect," Valerika sang out in an annoying high-pitched voice.

All Hermione had to do was dart her eyes at Valerika and the girl was quickly quieted once again by Hermione's glare.

"Well, first of all let me just say," Hermione looked at her three daughters. She turned to JR and developed a mental smile. It suddenly struck her how JR had developed into a beautiful young lady. Here was her first baby, now standing with her long arms crossed like her mother. Her red bushy hair in a high ponytail above her head. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a pine green turtleneck sweater, to top it off with silver earrings. She had Ron's eyes, his build, his teeth, and both of their hair traits. JR was in her fifth year in Gryffindor House and a prefect. She seemed to have picked up Percy and Hermione's attitudes towards school. School was her life.

"Jessica Rose, there is no need for you to try and attempt murder on your sisters, because of some boy at your school. I expect better from you and hope you handle situations more maturely at school than you do at home. As for your situation regarding the uniform, there is one that has been washed and pressed in your bedroom. I'll be in later with your father to talk about this prefect." Hermione looked at Ron for support, but he had all of a sudden changed to a sickly green color.

JR quietly left the room, taking her last look at Ron's face. She knew the conversation wouldn't be a good one since Ron was especially over-protective of his daughters.

"Now," Hermione turned to her twin girls. "Is JR telling the truth?"

The twins both nodded their heads.

Hermione made it a mental note to herself to boast to Ron about their exceptionally good genes. The twins looked exactly alike, except for the scar under Rachel's eye. They were very rebellious, a trait developed from their uncles Bill and Charlie. Both Rachel and Harmony had decided to cut off all their red hair. Rachel had on a pair of dragon hide boots, a present from her Uncle Charlie, a pair of cut-off khaki pants that looked too big for her frame, and a white wife-beater that looked as if it belonged to Ron. Harmony had her hand on Rachel's shoulder and Hermione noticed that Harmony had once again bitten her nails to the point of them bleeding. Harmony was wearing her dad's Chudley Cannons' jersey underneath a pair of baggy overalls. As usual, she was wearing her tattered sandals that were so worn out that they were taped in strange places. Hermione continually argued with them about the way they dressed, although Ron never seemed to complain. Hermione hated that they had her teeth, but it never bothered them. They were a younger version of Hermione; they developed everything except her bushy brown hair. She loved how they tried so hide to cover up their perfect frames, and never succeeded.

"Rachel Denise and Harmony Anne, I want the both of you to go apologize to you sister JR. How would you like it if she made fun of those ridiculous haircuts? Exactly. When you're done doing that, I want you both to come back and finish packing, like I know you haven't. It's nine o'clock, and you should be ready and in your uniforms. And no playing around on your broomsticks."

She hated that Rachel and Harmony were such die-hard fans of Quidditch. Of course, it didn't help that Ron had marked them in the womb. He and Harry had taken the Chudley Cannons to the Quidditch World Cup when Hermione had delivered her twin girls. Rachel and Harmony were in their fourth year in Gryffindor house, and were the best Chasers on the team in Gryffindor history. Ron constantly reminded everyone on the Chudley Cannons to watch out for his daughters.

Rachel and Harmony both walked out mumbling to each other.

Hermione turned to her daughter Valerika, she sometimes feared that Valerika wouldn't last at Hogwarts. Valerika always seemed to be the source of the problem when it came to conflict among her sisters. For such a small person, she knew how to create such a big fuss.

"Valerika, were you the one talking about the prefect?"

Valerika shook her head," No. I didn't even know RJ had a boyfriend. I was only kidding."

"Not a boyfriend, a friend boy who is a prefect," Ron interrupted.

Hermione looked at Ron and shook her head.

"What?" Ron asked confusingly.

Hermione turned back to the smiling Valerika. "Wipe that smile off your face Valerika Darling Weasley. Every time I turn my back on you, you're giving someone trouble. Go easy on your sisters, please. I know you know right from wrong. I want you to go apologize to JR and stop calling her RJ. After that, you come back here and you will help me clean JR's uniform."

"You're not going to use magic?"

"Go Valerika Darling. Go apologize to your sister and come straight back to me."

"I thought you wanted me to come back and clean the uniform."

Hermione glared at her and Valerika stomped out of the room.

"It's not fair!" She yelled.

Hermione sighed. She watched Valerika stalk out of the room. Valerika in some ways acted like Ron and in some ways acted like Hermione. Hermione laughed at the thought of them naming her Darling. It was Ron's idea and she loved it. Valerika was anything but Darling. Ron let her get away with murder, but Hermione was strict on her. Sometimes, Hermione hated how she had always seemed like the bad parent. But she knew Valerika Darling was going to give her hell all her life.

Valerika had all of Ron's features. From his hair, to the nose, to the freckles, to the long gangly arms and legs, down to the huge feet. Only thing that she didn't have was Ron's quick temper. She definitely inherited his quick-witted sarcasm and the ability to break rules. Hermione often feared that the Headmistress would have an owl waiting for her every time she awoke. Luckily though, Valerika was at the "darling" age of nine and only testing Hermione's temper. She pushed her hair out of her face and gave one last look at Hermione.

Hermione made note to take her shopping. She noticed that Valerika's burgundy long sleeve shirt stopped at her wrists. She had a white t-shirt over the burgundy shirt that said "WITCH" in burgundy letters. Her faded black jeans slightly showed her white socks and she had un-tied white canvas shoes on.

"I need to take you shopping," Hermione called after Valerika after she disappeared into JR's room.

Hermione then turned on Ron," Why do you act as if you don't know how to handle these girls. You've been a father for only fifteen years, Ronald Weasley."

Ron opened his mouth to say something, but Hermione shook her head.

"Don't speak. I'm not done with you. Why is there no breakfast? Why aren't the girls all ready to go? And where is Connie?"

There was awkward silence, until Ron smiled.

"Which one do you want me to answer first?" Hermione didn't smile, so he continued. "Well, I was having a hard time getting them ready so I decided to just pick them up some breakfast on the way. The girls aren't ready to go because they were quarreling. They never listen to anything I say, positive or negative. Constance is sleeping. Now, are we done with the quiz?"

Hermione nodded her head. She only gave in this easy when one of the girls was around. They agreed to never argue in front of their children, but broke the agreement long ago.

She looked down at Gertie and patted her on the head. Gertie tried but failed to wrap her arms around her mother's stomach. Hermione loved all her daughters equally, but she knew there was something special about Gertie. Gertrude Abigail was probably the most quiet of her sisters, which was rare. All Weasleys seemed to have a love for being heard.

Gertrude loved reading, Quidditch, and school. Gertrude had developed both Ron and Hermione's good traits. She often acted like Harry at times. She could be so serious, it was scary. The thing that stuck out about Gertrude was her eyes. They were hazel and that stood out against her red hair that was always messy, no matter what she did. She was very small for her age and didn't really get a kick out of playing with her neighbors or any kids for that matter. Gertrude was eleven and acted quite different for most eleven-year-olds.

Obviously Ron had done the wise thing at let her pick out her own clothes. She was wearing a pastel pink t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and her favorite tennis shoes.

"Well, I'm going to charm a breakfast for the girls. You wake up our dear Constance Virginia and dress her."

"Are you sure that you need to be doing all this in your condition?"

Gertie stuck up her hand," I can help."

"See?" Hermione took Gertrude by the hand and left without giving Ron the time to speak.

Ron sighed and walked down to Constance's room, but stopped when he overheard JR telling the girls about this prefect.

"His name is David Patil. He's the Ravenclaw prefect and he's actually in his sixth year. He's so gorgeous! Check out this picture!"

Now it was Harmony speaking, " do you know Patrick Wood? Well, the other day I get this owl from PJ... " (Pig Jr.)

He walked off quicker, denying the fact that his little girls would eventually grow up and have children of their own. He was thinking about strangling this Patil and this Patrick Wood, when he stopped and smiled at the tiny person standing in front of him.

Constance looked up at Ron with the piercing blue eyes; she definitely was a tiny Ron Weasley. She had his short temper, his sleeping habits, and his ability to eat a store full of sweets. Her red hair was in short messy curls all over her head.

"How's my favorite two-year-old?" He reached down to pick her up. She had Hermione's facial features at this age. Who's to say what she's going to look like in two years? She still possessed her angel cheeks and small chubby body. Like all babies.

"I'm so happy you're not into boys. I think I'm going to bash whoever lays a hand on you."

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^

Hermione kissed her four girls on the forehead and Ron all gave them hugs.

Valerika for once behaved herself and was even giving JR and the twins huge hugs. Constance was now in JR's arms playing with her earrings. "Jess go to school? You say bye-bye to Connie?"

JR kissed her little sister on the cheek," Yep, and I'll see you at Christmas."

Ron and Hermione saw Harry and his two children. He was patting a tall blond boy on the shoulder and pointing at the other boy with the messy black hair.

They also saw Neville with his two children boarding on the train with them. Neville taught the DADA job at Hogwarts and seemed to hold a record for teaching ten years and running.

It was funny how everyone seemed to grow up and have families of his or her own.

Hermione looked over at Padma Patil and her son and daughter David and Robbie. David looked over at JR without even noticing Hermione's eagle eyes.

"Gertrude, I want you to have as much fun as possible, okay? Meet as many people as possible, okay? Make sure you owl your father and I if anything happens." Hermione was on the verge of tears. Gertrude smiled uncomfortably and nodded her head.

"Okay mum. I promise that nothing will go wrong. I won't go into the Forbidden Forest to talk to acromantulas and I won't go face to face with a three-headed dog after the Elixir of Life."

Hermione said nothing else and looked in shock with Ron.

"Your secrets safe with me JK," Gertrude smiled.

As they saw the last trace of their children, Hermione put her hand to her chest," Gertrude read my books." There was awe and admiration in her voice.

"Well," was all Ron could say. He couldn't help but enjoy Constance's soft breathing and the rise and fall of her chest as she rested her head on her daddy's shoulder.

Valerika actually was hand in hand with Hermione," Mum?" She asked quietly.

"Yes?"

Valerika smiled," So, it's a boy huh?"

Ron darted his eyes at Hermione for an answer.

"I dunno, I just have this gut feeling, you know? It says "baby boy" all over my tummy."

Ron's eyes sparkled. "You know it's about time we had one."

"Yeah," Valerika added in," with all the practicing you two have been doing, it really is about time."

Ron and Hermione both glanced at each other with shocked looks on their faces.

"Yeah, especially when Daddy comes home from Quidditch tour. You practice everywhere!"

Valerika said it before she knew it.
