At the beginning of 6th year, Hermione Granger stumbles across an ancient prophecy concerning the Four Founders of Hogwarts. Now, four of the students find out exactly who they are and that they must join forces to defeat Voldemort and rid all evil in the world. A slightly A/U story with the Four Heirs meeting many adventures, a lot of pain and sadness, and coming to realize the greatest powers in the world are trust and love. Contains H/Hr, D/G, and R/LL.

*The story behind the events in 'Tourniquet.'* Ginny Weasley has been living in her own world for years now. No one seems to notice as she sinks further and further into her imagination and the darkness beginning to cloud around her. Only Draco Malfoy has taken the time to notice and he is determined to bring Ginny back into reality and show her how to live again. Ginny is in her own world too deep now though, a world where she lives alone and releases her pain each night. This is the story of what Ginny and Draco went through, traveling between the light and the dark and coming to realize that the darkness can never fully leave once it has settled.

She is depressed and wants to find a way to end all of her pain. No one notices her, no one cares for her, no one loves her. She tries to end all of the grief, not wanting to live through life anymore. She is bleeding and screaming for salvation. She prays to be saved by someone. And someone does.

On the inside though, she is absolutely miserable, hiding behind the many walls she ``has built up. Teri has learned to hide her many dark secrets and horrible “scars” for years but she is ``tired of being the horrible person she is. Will Harry Potter be able to help Teri break away from the ``darkness that surrounds her while, at the same time, looking for the secret item in Hogwarts?

A very sad songfic that takes place during Christmas, one year after Harry Potter died in the battle against Voldemort. Hermione reflects on the love she lost and also on how that love will never die.
