~Monday~

It was a dark and gloomy morning and the Great Hall's ceiling was very foggy. Not many students wanted to get up that morning; everyone was very groggy and tired. Harry, Hermione, and Ron sat down at the Gryffindor table. Ron was a very grumpy person in the morning and as for Hermione...she was wide awake. (By the way Harry was sitting on one side and Ron and Hermione were sitting on the other together.)

"You know that the earlier you wake up the easier to get your day started, don't you Ron?" Hermione asked.

"Hermione...?"

"Yes?"

"Shut up!" Ron slept on the table and tried to completely shut out her voice.

"Well then I'll just talk to Harry..." She turned to Harry. "SO, HARRY? I HEARD ABOUT THE NEXT QUIDDITCH MATCH COMING UP. HOW IS PRACTICE?" She made her voice loud as possible.

"Harry please make her stop!" Ron groaned.

"Good, good..." Obviously he wasn't paying attention to her. His eyes were still glued on Cho.

"Alright...Have you started on the project the D.A.D.A teacher has given us?"

"Uh-huh..."

"And have you studied for the pop quiz Snape might give us?"

"What?!" Harry and Ron looked sharply at Hermione.

"I had to get your attention didn't I? Here's a handkerchief, Harry, you're drooling..."

Harry took the handkerchief and wiped his chin.

"Don't joke about shit like that! You could give someone a heart attack!" Ron exclaimed.

"If there was a pop quiz or something of that sort you know I would help you study for it." She blushed. Ron looks up at her raising his head of his arms.

"Thanks..." His ears turned red. She smiled at him. Ron smiles back.

"Can you guys stop? You're messing up my daydream over here." Then Harry holds his stomach. "I think I'm going to be sick..." They quickly looked away from each other.

"I have to get to Arithmancy." She gathered her things.

"Yea, Harry we better get going to class." Harry and Ron gathered their things and left the Great Hall.

~At Dinner~

"Can you believe that Professor Trelawney still thinks you going to die?" Ron said in disbelief as he and Harry caught up with Hermione. Ron and Harry sat at the Gryffindor table.

"I'm going to go to the library. You two want to come?" She looked at Ron.

"Um, yeah. I'll go with you." Ron got up. Harry stared at him in disbelief.

"Since when did you like going to the library?" Harry asked inquisitively.

"Oh, well, I thought that I should study for the test in McGonagall's. Plus I don't think I can stand you drooling anymore!" Harry looked at him suspiciously.

"Whatever..."

Hermione and Ron left. Cho had entered the Great Hall and instead of going to the Ravenclaw table she strolled right over to the Gryffindor table. Harry sees this thinks to himself. Cho- Cho is coming over here! What am I going to do?! Harry started to feel a bit sweaty. Um, um, ok just...just... chill. Out of nowhere he stretches his legs onto the empty seats next to him and leans on his elbow.

"Hey Harry." Cho smiled at him.

"Hey," He lowered his voice.

"Um, right. I wanted to talk to you about something."

"What?" Harry asked anxiously.

"Are you going out with somebody?"

Harry sat up excitedly. "No, why?"

"Well, my friend thinks you're kind of cute, and I was, like, yea he is, and..."

"You think I'm cute?"

"Well yeah. So anyway she wanted to know if you..."

"You think I'm cute?"

"Yes Harry...it's just that-"

"You think I'm cute..."

"Well...yeah..." When he heard these words he got up and left, mumbling to himself "she thinks I'm cute."

He headed out of the Great Hall. Ginny saw him coming out and decided that she should seize the moment so Ginny 'accidentally' bumped into him, as planned, and dropped all her books.

"Oh Harry could you help me with...these..."

"She thinks I'm cute." Harry didn't even look at Ginny on the floor. Ginny looked up in shock. He was supposed to help me...; Ginny sat on the floor and cried. Cho walked out of the Great Hall and found poor Ginny on the floor crying.

"Are you okay?" Cho asked her knelling on the floor.

"Does it look like I'm okay?" Ginny tried to wipe her tears. When she looked up and saw Cho she cried harder.

"Won't you tell me what's wrong?" She wanted know if she could help Ginny.

"You, and Harry, and..." She didn't seem to get it all out. Cho handed her a tissue.

"What about Harry and me? There's nothing going on between us. I mean, not really."

~Later that Evening in the Gryffindor Common Room~

Harry sits in a chair and stares at the fire. Ron walks in straightening his robes and clothes.

"Hey, Harry."

"Hey...Ron...what happened?! You look like crap! I mean, did you get caught up in a tornado or something?"

Ron laughs nervously. "Yeah...So anyways, what happened today?"

"Cho said I was cute."

"Where the bloody hell was I when this happened?"

"At the library with Hermione."

"No I wasn't- oh yea!" Just then Hermione walks trying to fix her robes.

"Hermione, what happened to your hair?" Harry asked. "It looks terrible..."

"No...No it doesn't..." She looked nervously at Ron. "It always looks like this. It just bushy."

Harry looked at them suspiciously. Hermione quickly went up to the girls' dormitory to fix herself up. She came back to the dormitory looking worried.

"Ron, do you know what's wrong with Ginny?"

"There's always something wrong with that girl."

"I hope she feels better." Hermione looked at Harry. "Harry? You haven't bumped into Ginny lately, have you?"

"No, not that I remember..."

"Oh, well, I am so exhausted," Hermione sighed. "I think should go to bed. Good night, Harry."

"G' night."

"Good Night Ron," Hermione said slyly.

"See you tomorrow," He replied and he eyed her carefully her as she went up the stairs to the girls' dormitory.

"What is it with you two? You've been acting strange..." Harry knew that his best friends were hiding something from him, but he wasn't sure why they weren't telling him. After all they are his best friends, not to mention his first friends.

Ron looked uncomfortable and started to fidget.

"Well Harry...Hermione...and I...er...," Ron tried to stall time. "Are studying for that test."

"Ron did I ever tell you that you aren't a pro at lies?"

"No..."

"Well I think it's about time I did." Harry grinned at Ron.
