Hermione takes up Draco on his offer to join the dark side after a horrific tragedy and learning about her past. Sparks will fly between them as they work together under Voldemort But what will become of her friendship with Harry and Ron?

Draco suggests that Hermione join the dark side. Hermione doesn't give it a second thought until she learns who her parents really are. Will it change her relationship with Ron and Harry?

Hermione finds out about her real parents. How will that change who she is? What really happened to her parents? Who is responsible for it?

The horrific tragedy is revealed and Draco is there to comfort Hermione in her time of need. Will it make her turn to the dark side? Other characters come into play and gain importance.

How will the news Hermione has learned about her past change the relationship she has with Draco? What will happen when Ron and Harry find out?

Harry and Ron continue their search for Hermione when they receive an alarming letter from her. Draco reacts to Hermione's news and returns the favor by giving her some surprising news. Narcissa plays a large role and we hear more from Blaise, who is currently NOT happy AT ALL.

Blaise and Draco have a confrontation over their past history and Hermione comes up. Hermione has to deal with practically being a Malfoy and meeting Lucius for the first time. She also catches Blaise and Draco together in a rather compromising moment. (Oops!) And the three beings' existence is explained. Ron contemplates and decides to do something. Will something bad happen as a result? Read to find out.

Blaise and Hermione continue to give Draco a hard time. Narcissa has surprises in store for Hermione when the whole Malfoy clan decides to take in Diagon Alley for a day. Hermione gets into the perks of being a pureblood as Draco shows her how the other half lives. A unexpected visitor makes a surprise appearance. Then, Harry shows up to find that all is not as it seems.

In this chapter, Harry and Ron have an interesting conversation about the former's encounter with Hermione in Diagon Alley. We get to see Hermione's reaction to it, and Blaise makes an appearance. Then, we have some backstory given by the Three Powers when they finally share some dialogue with the hero and heroine. Also, there's a steamy little kiss involved...

Hermione and Draco fight from which Blaise takes an emotional blow. Blaise tells Hermione what Draco's nickname means and the story behind it. Lucius takes action to protect Hermione from those who would do her harm. Percy snoops about and finds something interesting. Hermione is sent to stay with a great aunt who is very familiar.

Hermione learns how McGonagall figures into the Rosier clan. Harry and Ron visit Professor Dumbledore who is less than forthcoming. Draco deals with Hermione's absence in his own way. Blaise makes an appearance. Lucius gets Dumbledore's letter and an unexpected visitor. Someone else makes an appearance and unknowingly finds out Hermione's true identity. What will they do with this new knowledge?

Ron reflects, Blaise narrates, and Rita schemes. The deterioration of the Malfoy family and an article in the works. Luna gets a small scene. Draco and Hermione have a confrontation that leads to a revelation that will change everything.

Draco and Hermione finish where their argument left off and Hermione reflects on why she's been distant. Neville has a moment. Dumbledore tells Snape something that is not well-received. We learn where Harry stands. Cornelius Fudge thinks about power. The three beings notice something awry.

The preceding events culminate into a confrontation between Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Ginny, Neville, Luna, and Blaise on the train. Also, Voldemort's inner thoughts, and a startling declaration. What will happen because of it?

Pansy is planning while Blaise is fretting. Draco and Hermione are settling in, but then something terrible happens and Hermione cuts her final ties. Snape is also searching for something within the confines of his memory and the past, what is it?

Hermione and Draco have moved into the dungeons with interesting reactions. Harry gets a mysterious letter. A Quidditch match with a confrontation between Harry and Draco, and someone dies...

The aftermath of Blaise's death is explored. Draco's grief is absolute while Hermione is unable to do anything to console him. Snape and Dumbledore have a conversation which reveals quite a bit. Harry and Pansy have a moment while the Three Powers have a cameo.

Draco continues to deal with his grief over Blaise's death until something miraculous happens. Ron has been taken into custody by the Ministry and we will learn his fate. The outcome of the baby is revealed and Ginny has a moment. Lucius and Narcissa reappear, one distraught and the other disturbed.

Pansy has a secret and lets the cat out of the bag when she runs across Harry again. Harry himself is starting to have perceptions of the upcoming struggle. Draco finally lets Hermione in on why keeping Madison a secret is a good idea and Hermione acts completely on Slytherin instinct once finding out. They return home to the manor to find Lucius and Narcissa waiting for them. Luna walks around the halls of the school with a plan in mind formed by the visions she's been having. Snape continues to be very disconcerted as he looks for the culprit, will he finally discover their identity?

Hermione meets her grandmother for the first time and gets some interesting news about her duty to her family, Luna is eerily skulking around the school, Ginny starts down a path that could have dangerous consequences, Harry and Pansy have a conversation with a captivating twist, the school is getting ready to split apart, and Hannah Abbott plays Miss Scapegoat 1997. Then, there's the apparent suicide...

Ginny talks with Tom and goes in search of something, Luna is slowly going mad when she has another vision with dire consequences, Hermione finds out who her guardian is and something else that makes her run away from the Manor, Pansy and Harry come to an understanding when the school starts to fall apart, and a certain someone is back and better than ever.

Tom is most pleased with his Ginevra, the Three Powers venture out from their forest cave in search of answers, Blaise comes back with a message for Draco and is not very happy with him, Percy is having a good day until it is interrupted by the most unlikely of things, and Harry and Pansy plot some more.
