"Are you sure about this, Fred?" George asked his brother, grinning.

"Positive," he answered, sporting a grin equally as mischievous.

"Alright, then, let's administer part one of operation GGAFDM," George cried out. Fred glared at him, and George quickly covered his mouth. "Oops."

The fire red-haired twins were hiding behind a bush in the courtyard of Hogwarts, awaiting the moment their newest victim walked by. Though they usually didn't concentrate on any one student (they certainly didn't want to leave anyone out, after all), their sister Ginny gave them quite a reason to. It was one thing to date Gryffindors (or even Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, for that matter), but it was entirely another to date a Slytherin, especially the one she was dating. Slytherins were out of the question; it just wasn't done. So, the two overprotective brothers decided it was high time someone did something about this little predicament.

"Fred," George whispered, pointing to a tall blonde-haired Slytherin walking into the courtyard. Ginny Weasley was following behind. This wasn't what they had planned; Harry told them he would keep her occupied! Part one was not going as well as they had thought it would. "Should we do it anyways?"

Fred looked around thoughtfully, and then nodded. "Ginny will forgive us once she realises how much of a prat he is," he replied, taking another look over at the happy couple.

"Right, then, on three. One, two, three!" George whispered, pulling the string next to him.

The net connected to the roof came toppling down, causing enchanted scissors to jump from all over. The scissors made for Malfoy's hair, and every time he tried to ward them away with his hands, they tried to cut his fingers instead. So while Draco was curled up in the fetal position, Ginny looked over at the bushes, eyeing it suspiciously.

"FRED! GEORGE! YOU GET OUT OF THERE THIS INSTANT AND UNENCHANT THESE BLOODY SCISSORS!" she shouted, resembling Mrs. Weasley more with every word.

They exchanged knowing looks and stood up, looking around confused. "What ever do you mean, Ginny? What scissors?"

"You know very well what scissors! Make them stop attacking Draco!" she persisted, pulling out her wand. "Or...well, let's just say you won't want to know if you don't."

"We're just giving your...boyfriend, a long needed hair cut," Fred explained, grinning slightly.

Ginny shot them a look to kill, and raised her wand. "Make it stop," she told them again.

"Alright, alright," George answered, waving his wand. "But you'll regret it later."

The scissors stopped attacking Draco, and Ginny helped him up, still eyeing her brothers viciously. Unfortunately, Malfoy had managed to keep the scissors away from his hair, so it was unharmed. Part one of operation GGAFDM had failed. But have no fear, for part two would surely get him good.

***

"They did not!" Hermione cried, horrified at the thought of Fred and George enchanting scissors that could be dangerous.

"Well, if you ask me," Ron started, pushing his not-yet-started essay aside, "they did right in doing that. I mean, honestly, you're dating Draco Malfoy. Hell, I'd join them if it'd help get rid of him."

"Ron! There's nothing wrong with me dating Draco," Ginny replied nonchalantly. "He's a respectable-oh hell-he's gorgeous!"

"He's a Slytherin and Harry's-" Ron argued.

"Yeah, yeah. Harry's archenemy, I know. Does no one take into consideration that I don't date base on someone's opinion on that person? Isn't it my choice who I date, here?" Ginny asked, glancing at the small group around her.

"Why not? You should care about your friends feelings, Ginny," Ron pointed out, looking over at Hermione to back up his thoughts.

"I do care for Harry's feelings, but I'm not going to throw away my social life because of some stupid little grudge against the two. Draco doesn't mind that I'm friends with Harry, so it should go both ways."

"I wouldn't date someone you didn't like," Ron told her.

"So if I told you I didn't like Hermione-no, Hermione. I'm just using it as an example- you wouldn't go out with her?" Ginny accused, raising an eyebrow.

"But you don't dislike Hermione, Ginny," Ron replied. "It doesn't make any sense."

"You are hopeless!" Ginny cried, crossing her arms. "Forget I said anything."

Harry approached from the portrait, and sat beside Ginny, looking at everyone curiously. "What did I miss? Harry asked.

Ron filled Harry in on all the details, though didn't tell Ginny's side of the story. He wanted Harry on his side, not hers. When he finished, Harry looked at Ginny curiously.

"Since when did you start dating Malfoy, Gin?" he asked, confused.

"Where have you been all weekend, Harry?" Hermione demanded.

"I-er-I've..." Harry fumbled for the right words.

"You know, I haven't seen much of you," Ron noticed, looking over at him. "Where have you been going?"

"Nowhere," Harry denied, darting his eyes to something on the wall.

Ginny giggled, and Ron and Hermione turned to face her. "What's so funny, Ginny?" Hermione asked.

"Harry has been snogging," she answered, grinning.

The two turned again to now face Harry. Harry's face was red, and averted his gaze. "Snogging who?"

"Not for me to tell, I'm afraid," Ginny replied mischievously. "Well, I must be off. Draco and I have a rendezvous."

***

"You know, your brothers almost killed me," Draco informed Ginny.

"I'm sorry," she told him, kissing him.

"They're mad, you know that, right?" he replied, returning the kiss.

"Yes, I know," Ginny answered, smiling sadly at him. "If I could keep them from pranking, I would, but I can't. They're unstoppable."

"Not even your bat-bogey hex can stop them?" Draco teased, smirking.

"Possibly, but that'd only delay them. They'd be back in a matter of minutes."

"Well, they're going to have to get used to seeing you with me, 'because it's not going to change anytime soon," he told her, brushing a hair out of her face.

"Don't get too comfortable. We haven't seen the last of those two," Ginny answered grimly.

"Well," Draco said after a moment, "maybe we should play fire with fire." Draco's eyes glimmered with amusement. "This is what we'll do..."

***

"Hermione...I saw something that I wished I hadn't," Ron told her uneasily while they were in the library the next day.

"If you're going to tell me that you saw Colin talking to a muffin again, please don't even bother," Hermione told him expectantly.

"No, it's not that. It's Harry. I saw...saw him...snogging..."

"Saw him snogging...who? Spit it out, Ron!" Hermione hissed impatiently.

"IsawHarrysnoggingSeamusinthebroomcupboard," Ron said quickly.

"Who?"

"Seamusinthebroomcupboard!" Ron cried, his face paled.

"Seamusinthebroomcupboard? What in Merlin's name are you on about, Ron?" Hermione asked with a puzzled expression.

"I saw HARRY snogging SEAMUS in the BROOM CUPBOARD!" Ron shouted. Everyone turned to them. Ron's face turned a bright crimson.

Harry walked into the library, his hair messier than usual. "What'd I miss?" he questioned, looking around the library at the curious faces.

The students quickly turned away and Ron's face became even redder. "Honestly, what's the matter with everyone?" Harry asked again.

"Er-nothing, mate. Just the usual gossip," Ron replied, his face still red.

Hermione looked at Harry, trying to stifle a laugh. "Harry, you look like you just rolled around in a broom cupboard," she teased.

"Why, what have you heard?" he accused, his face reddening.

"Um...that you snogged Seamus," Hermione answered.

Harry paled. "It was only three times!" he hissed. "And I...oh, bloody hell. I'm gay."

"You're what?" Ron asked.

"I'm gay."

"Funny, my ears must be failing me, 'cause I just thought you said that you were gay," Ron told him, laughing it off.

"I did say that. I like men," Harry answered.

Ron fell off of his chair and Hermione ran to his side. "Ron?"

***

"No, no she didn't. I saw them just this morning!" Fred informed his twin. "They couldn't possibly have broken it off. Where did you hear that rubbish?"

"Ginny told me!" George answered. "I'm pretty damn sure she wouldn't lie about that."

"She's up to something," Fred accused.

"Up to something?" George asked curiously. "What do you mean?"

"She's planning something," Fred answered, staring at his brother, wondering why he was being so thickheaded. Some of Ron must have rubbed off on him. "Her and Draco, that is. They're going to get us back."

"Oh. Oohh," he said, understanding. He grinned mischievously at his brother. "So, what have we got planned then?"

"See, I'm sure they're going to pretend they're not together. So, what do we do? We give her someone to fill that empty space, so she doesn't have time for Draco," Fred replied slyly. "Let's go over possible choices for the part."

"Well, there's Lee Jordan. He's single now. Broke up with Angelina this morning. He could use someone," George pointed out.

"No, no. He'll be perfect for Ginny. We need someone clingy, annoying. Someone who would never get a date if they were the last guy on earth..." The two looked at each other, and they knew exactly who Ginny would be dating.

***

"Hey Ginny!" a voice called, and Ginny could here footsteps running towards her. Great, Ginny thought dryly, it's Colin. "Ginny, wait up!" The short little brown-haired had finally reached Ginny's side.

"Hi Colin," she greeted with a fake smile.

"Ginny! I heard about your break-up with Draco Malfoy!" he cried, even though she was standing right next to him. Wait...how did he know? It was only supposed to get to Fred and George, and maybe the trio.

"Yeah," she answered, pretending to be sad. "He just wasn't the one."

"That's too bad," Colin said. "I know something that could cheer you up! How about you come with me to Hogsmeade! That's always a fun thing to do!"

Ginny cringed on the inside, but kept her smile. "Um, actually, Colin--"

"Great!" he shouted. "I'll meet you in the courtyard in a few hours, then." As he skipped off happily, he repeatedly cried out, "I'm going out with Ginny Weasley! Yippee! I'm going out with Ginny Weasley!"

Ginny frowned. What in Merlin's name just happened? Had she just agreed to go to Hogsmeade with Colin Creevy? No...he had just assumed she had said yes. If she didn't meet him, he couldn't say that she broke her promise, because she didn't exactly tell him she would even go. Ginny pulled her bag over her shoulder and went up to the common room.

She saw the trio talking in a corner and pushed her way in-between an arguing Ron and Hermione. "Alright, who dared Colin Creevy to ask me out?" Ginny accused.

Harry looked over at her. "What do you mean? Why would we do that?"

"Well, how the hell am I supposed to know? All I do know is that Colin did, and I somehow agreed to go with him," she snapped at him, glaring.

"What's wrong with that? He's a perfectly acceptable guy. Yes, he's a bit annoying at times, and he can get on every last nerve I've got, but he's nice enough. You should be happy to date him!" Hermione told Ginny.

"Are you mad?" Ron asked. "That little twerp is annoying as hell! I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to go out with him, Ginny."

"Thank you, Ron. I'm glad someone agrees with me. I--"

"Ron! That's so insensitive! How can you say that?" Hermione reprimanded.

"Well, it's true isn't it?" Ron pointed out.

"Yes, but..."

"Never mind. You three obviously aren't going to help me," Ginny said, interrupting another argument. Ginny stood from her spot and left the common room. As she was pacing back and forth in anger, someone called out her name. She grimaced as she thought of Colin and tried to find a place to hide.

"Ginny! What in Merlin's name is going on here? I thought we were tricking your brothers by telling them we broke it off. Now I hear that bloody annoying kid prancing around the castle telling everyone that he's got a date with you," she heard Draco say. She turned around in relief.

"Draco, it's--Merlin! That's it!" she cried out, causing Draco to look puzzled.

"What's it? Gin, what are you talking about?" he asked her.

"My brothers," she grumbled. "They're the reason Colin asked me to go to Hogsmeade with him. Those little--"

"Ginny, you're telling me that your brothers planned all this? But how did Colin get you to agree to go with him?" he questioned.

"Erm, I didn't exactly tell him no..." Ginny told him. "But I also didn't say yes. He just assumed I did before I could answer him. I can't believe they did this! I'm going to get them so bad for this!"

"What are you going to do?" Draco asked her. "I think we should just hex the living daylights out of them. No more with these bloody pranks."

"There's no fun in hexing, Malfoy," Ginny told him.

"Au contraire, there is. I get much satisfaction out of watching someone double over in pain, begging for it to stop. You go ahead and prank them, Gin, but in the end I will have it my way," Draco answered, smirking.

"Gosh, you're so cute when you do that I'm-the-boss routine of yours. Very cute," she told him, kissing him.

"I know," he agreed. "I know."

***

"You there! Get out of my way," Lee Jordan shouted to a trembling first year. "Oh, hang on. Have you seen Fred and George?"

The first year ran past him and through the hall. "Bloody first years. Can't even spit out a word before they run away like Draco Malfoy being chased by a mountain troll." Lee hurried up to the common room, where he had found the twins. "Oi! Where've you been?"

"Here all along, mate. We're planning our final prank. This time, they both are getting the full blow of it. We've tried getting both of them separately, but it just doesn't work," George answered. "If this doesn't work--"

"Then we aren't Fred and George Weasley," Fred finished.

"Right, so what's the plan then?" Lee asked them.

"Remember when you walked in on them in McGonagall's classroom? Well, we've found a way to get them there again. We're going to give Ginny this lip gloss just for the occasion," George answered.

"Lip gloss? That's your master plan? I think you two have finally lost it," Lee Jordan commented.

"It's not just any lip gloss. It's got a stick charm in it. Once she puts it on her lips, and starts kissing Malfoy,"

"They'll be locking lips, literally! Their lips will be stuck together and it doesn't wear off for a week," Fred said, smiling proudly at their idea.

Lee nodded, and then frowned. "What if she doesn't put it on?"

"Why wouldn't she put it on?" George asked.

"Maybe because she knows it's from you," he suggested.

"I know! We'll have Harry give it to her! She'll trust Harry!" Fred suggested.

"Harry? Why Harry? He's a guy, why would he give her bloody lip gloss?"

"You haven't heard? I think it's time you sit down. It could be a while..."

And so, the redheaded twins explained how Ron had found him in the broom cupboard with that certain someone...

Later that day, they put their third and final plan into action. They cornered Harry in the common room, who was throwing around a snitch.

"Harry, we need to ask you a favour," Fred told him.

"It's important," George added.

"What is it?" he asked worriedly.

"Well, we need to give Ginny this lip gloss, and she won't take it from us. If it was from you, then she wouldn't think anything of it," Fred told him.

"What'd you do to it?" Harry wondered.

"Nothing, nothing. It's just, we want to apologize for being so rude, but if we to give it to her, she wouldn't take it because she would assume there was something wrong with it. If you give to her, she won't suspect a thing!" George replied gleefully.

Harry nodded his head. "Alright, but you have to promise again to keep my...secret. Seamus and I don't want the word to go around the whole school."

The twins looked at each other. They had just told Lee Jordan. Word travelled fast through his big mouth. They'd just leave that part out...

"Alright, we promise Harry. Now, give this to her. She'll love it!" Fred told him. "Nice doing business with you."

The two redheads left the room, smiles forming on their faces. Their plan was succeeding.

***

Ginny stared at the lip gloss in her hand. Malfoy was going to be there any minute, and she thought it'd be best to put it on. She was surprised when Harry had given it to her, but he seemed happy about giving her something, so she gladly took it. After sliding the gloss on her lips, she quickly put it in her pocket. Draco came in a minute later, and he smiled when he saw her.

"Cherry or Green Apple?" he asked with interest.

"Cherry," she replied, smiling. "Care for a sample?"

"That depends. Can I sample it on your lips?" he questioned slyly.

Meanwhile, the twins were outside the door, trying very hard not to laugh. Draco was moving in, ready to kiss their dear, innocent sister, and they knew what was coming. Draco moved closer and their lips locked. When Ginny tried to pull away to catch her breath, she couldn't move, and Fred and George fell to the floor in laughter. They could hear a rather large screech from the room, which only made them laugh even more.

If it was Draco that she wanted, then she could have him. All the time. Ginny and Draco moved awkwardly out of the classroom. When they looked down and saw Fred and George in fits of laughter, they knew exactly who was behind this. Ginny glared venomously at them and the two made their way up to the hospital wing.

"Well, Fred, I think we've done well," George commented.

"Yes, I believe we have."
