Chapter 8

"No response. Good. Draco, you're going to bunk with Harry 'til school starts," Romulus said taking over control of the group.

"Fine by me. Ok with you Harry?" Malfoy said looking at the very pale Harry.

"Yeah, fine."

"Good, now everyone out or I'm locking you in," Romulus said pointing at the door. The Weasley's, Crys, Jed, Remus, Sam, Snape were out the door quickly and Malfoy pulling the still quite Harry out the door followed by Romulus who closed and locked the door.

"What's next to do?" Jed said.

"Shopping," Malfoy said shooting a look of concern at Harry.

"Shopping?" said six out of the eight adults.

"What's today?" Malfoy said with a disgusted look on his face.

"The 29^th of July," Ron said.

"10 points to Gryffindor. And what's in two days?" Malfoy said casting a look at Harry who was now leaning against the white wall.

"We're dumb," Crys said.

"40 points from Slytherin, 10 points from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw for stupidity," Malfoy said sourly.

"Who's in the lead now?" Remus said.

"Gryffindor by 10," Sam said with pain in her voice.

"What are you talking about?" said the now coherent Harry.

"Well as first years only eight or nine students stayed at Hogwarts for the Christmas Holidays. Therefore, Papa (he was teaching there at the time) came up with a game. He and a few of the teachers would hide things all over the school and the grounds for us to find. Whatever team found the most stuff in one day got 50 points or so for their house. Now mind you these were not the schoolhouses. We made them up. We did the thing every Christmas and summer after that," Jed explained to them, before she could continue they say a big bird flying down the hall.

"Warwick, what are you doing here?" Sam said when the bird landed next to her and put a large package at Sam's feet and left.

"Whose it from?" Crys said as Sam knelt down next to it.

"Not saying" Sam said and the package started to float down the hall and thought the wall after Harry's door.

"Now, I think we should explain who we are and how we know each other," Crys said.

"That will take al of two minutes."

"That's not funny, Severus," Crys said softly.

"Don't start," Sam snapped as she stood up.

"We have to wait. Padfoot is not showed up yet," Remus said and cringed when Fred and George gasped.

"Padfoot? As in Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs?" Fred said.

"Yes," Remus replied as Harry and Ron started to laugh.

"You know him?" George asked.

"Unfortunately, yes," Remus said as a big black dog came down the hall.

"Why do you say that?" Harry said with a smirk and knelt next to the dog, which had sat down next to him and was now looking at Remus with a smirk of his own.

"Because he can be more trouble then he's worth at times," Remus said and looked pointedly at the dog who looked offended.

"The same can be said about you," said a dark haired woman who came out of nowhere. At the end of the hall near the stairs came two redheaded men and a brown haired teenage girl.

"Bill, Charlie, Hermione you're here early," Mr. Weasley said from the clump of Weasley's.

"Dumbledore wrote and said Hermione needed a lift here so we left a little sooner then excepted," Bill said as he gave his mother a hug.

"We put Hermoine's stuff in Ginny's room and came looking for you," Charlie said as he gave Ginny a hug.

"Now that everyone is here let's get started shall we," Jed said.

"Fine by me but first let's do introductions," Sam said.

"I'm going to regret this but here goes. I'm going to let everyone called me Severus until term starts."

"I'm Samantha but I won't respond to it so call me Sam."

"I'm Jenna but don't call me that it's Jed."

"Most of you know me already, I'm Remus to all since I'm no longer you professor."

"I'm Crys."

"I'm Romulus, Remus's other half, but call me Wolf."

"I'm Caroline, Jed and Severus's twin."

"I'm Draco Malfoy and I'm Harry's friend," Malfoy said trying not to laugh and the dog growled at him.

"Not today your not," Harry said and everyone started to laugh.

"When's Padfoot going to show up?" asked Fred with an evil grin that George shared.

"He's already here," Sam said smiling as Harry stood up.

"Really, where?" George said looking confused.

"Right here," Harry said pointing at the dog.

"That dog is Padfoot?" Fred and George said together and the dog turned into Sirius Black.

"Yes, I am Padfoot," he said with a smile as Fred, George, and Ginny gasped.

"Hi Sirius," Harry said and smiled at his godfather. Sirius turned to him and then pulled him into a big bear hug.

"Hi Harry. Are you ok? You look a little pale," Sirius said.

"I'm fine. Just a little tired but it's not from nightmares," Harry said. Sirius nodded and walked over to Sam and started to kiss her.

"Missed you too," Sam said happily when Sirius pulled away.

"If you two are finished. We should explain why Sirius is here and why we are all friends," Remus said smiling sadly.

"Fine by me," Sam said as she pulled out of Sirius' arms and headed downstairs.

"You had to ruin my fun, didn't you?" Sirius said to Remus who was trying not to smile.

"Yes, I did. Because we have more important things to do then watch you piss off you wife," Remus said as he turned and followed Sam downstairs.

"Well, let's go down and find out what this is all about," Snape said laughing.

"Your laughing at me, aren't you?" Sirius said as he looked at his brother-in-law.

"Yes I am," Snape replied. Sirius growled at him but went downstairs everyone else followed him laughing.

"Everyone exit the tent, we are have our conference out in the garden," Remus said when they reached the bottom of the stairs. They left the tent and found Sam laying on the ground waiting for them.

"First of all, Molly what did Albus have to say?" Sam said as they sat down or stood near her.

"That it was ok for Harry to be in the tent since it was in the garden," Mrs. Weasley replied.

"Good. Now to business, let's start with questions from the young people," Sam said as Remus sat between her and Sirius.

"How old are you?" Ron asked.

"Lets just say we've been out of school about twenty years," Caroline said.

"So, you were in the same year?" Ginny asked.

"Yes, along with James Potter and Lily Evans, who were good friends of ours," Jed answered.

"Did you always get along with each other?" Fred asked.

"No, but we were civil to each other. At least the Gryffindor's and the Slytherin's because of James being raised with Sam, Jed, Severus and Caroline," Sirius replied.

"Why was he raised with them?" George asked.

"As Harry told you I'm his aunt because James was my twin brother. After our father died Mum moved in with Severus's father because Father and Papa went to school together, about a year later Mum and Papa got married," Sam responded.

"Who are the other three Marauders?" Fred and George said together.

"That is a question for Sirius to answer," Remus said with a big grin on his face.

"Wormtail is Peter Pettigrew the rat, Prongs is James Potter, and Moony is Remus Lupin. And I have a question for the two for you, how do you know about 'The Marauders'?" Sirius said smiling, which made him look ten years younger.

"They gave me the map," Harry said when Fred and George looked at their mother hesitantly.

"How? Filch took it from Prongs and me in our seventh year," Sirius said in amazement.

"You four can talk about that later, right now we're being integrated by them," Severus said.

"Ok, that's four of you but what about the rest?" Ron asked.

"It was three of us. Rat boy was to scared of the cat sisters to stay for long," Romulus said with in evil grin on his face.

"Why do you call Pettigrew rat boy?" Harry asked.

"All of us except Remy are unregistered Animagus. Peter turned in to a rat," Sam said.

"Who lived in this very house for thirteen years as Scabbers the rat," Remus said.

"When did you become Animagus?" Ron asked since his family was stunned by the news of Scabbers.

"For The Marauders plus Jed it was our fifth year I'm not sure about The Pride," Remus said.

"For us plus Caroline it was our third year around Christmas," Romulus said trying to hide a smile.

"Third year? How is that possible? It took me and James four years to figure it out," Sirius said in surprise.

"Well, who got the best marks for seven years?" Caroline asked.

"You and The Pride," Jed said with little problem.

"Why do you think we're called The Pride?" Romulus said with a small smirk on his face.

"I thought you were being conceited," Sirius replied.

"No, the seventh year Slytherins started calling us 'The Pride of Hogwarts' in our first year because one of the seventh years got feed up with his homework and throw a book at us and said 'You figure it out, then tell me'. We read the book in three hours and explained it to him with no problem," Remus said smiling outright.

"Seventh year course work and you understood it," Hermione said in shock.

"That's what Minerva thought when they told her," Romulus said.

"But if you gave us a first year text we didn't understand it," Sam said.

"Professor Macgonall? Why'd they tell her?" Malfoy asked.

"Professor Maywether, the head of house, hated everyone. Didn't care who they were even if it was Merlin himself," Severus said in disgust.

"Sounds very disagreeable," Percy said from the back door.

"He, on a good day, was worse then Severus," Remus said and ducted as Snape throw one of his shoes at him.

"Draco, you don't need to worry about your stuff, we've got that covered," Sam said.

"What did you do? Mum, don't tell me you broke into Malfoy Manor," Malfoy said.

"She didn't, I did," Crys said smiling.

"Great now my aunt is a thief," Malfoy mumbled into his hand.

"Any more questions?" Sirius asked.

"Where have you all been for the last fourteen years?" Harry asked.

"Well you know about Sirius and Sam. Crys was looking out for Draco and Severus was taking care of Ro and teaching. Remus and Romulus were together keeping an eye on some Death Eaters. Jed was keeping an eye on you when no one else could. I was staying out of the way waiting for Sam's prediction to come true and when it did I got her out of St. Mungo's," Caroline said when nobody else could.

"How do you know all this, Caroline?" Jed asked her sister.

"Do you think Sam's the only Seer in the family?" Snape said in reply.

"What was you prediction?" Mr. Weasley asked Sam.

"The Dog Star will escape, the brother will remain loyal to his friend. A werewolf will teach the children, and The Cat Sister's will be together again," Sam said with a sad smile.

"The Dog Star is Sirius. The werewolf is Remus. But who are The Cat Sister's?" Hermione said without thinking.

"The Cat Sister's are the only four women in this group. Jed, Caroline, Sam and me," Crys said.

What about the 'brother'?" Ginny asked.

"That we're not going to tell. Not yet anyway," Romulus replied.

"Why not?" Percy asked.

"Because the brother doesn't even know who he is," Snape replied.

"All done with questions? Good now we need to tell everyone who doesn't know about Sirius," Sam said and groaned as she sat up.

"Fine by me. Who's going to tell?" Remus asked.

"I will," Sirius said.

"And keep to the facts as much as possible, dog boy," Sam said and her cat sisters snickered.

"Ruin all my fun. Well, as some of you know I was suppose to be The Potter's Secret Keeper, but I wasn't. It was Peter Pettigrew. We both went into hiding I started to get nervous because the Death Eaters didn't come after me. Therefore, I went to check on Peter but he wasn't there and there were no signs of a struggle. I begin to worry so I took off to Godic Hollow but I was too late. James and Lily were already died and Hagird was bringing Harry out of the ruble that was their home. I told Hagird to take my bike it would be safer and quicker. After Hagird left I went thought the house and took something's that, I know James and Lily wanted to give Harry. I hide them at the Estate and went in search of Peter the rest you know. Except it was Peter that killed all those people," Sirius said looking at the ground.

"It's not your fault, Padfoot," Snape said with genuine feeling.

"Yes, it is I told them to use Peter instead of me," Sirius said his voice thick with tears.

"Padfoot, stop it. It was up to Prongs and Lily not you," Romulus said looking like he was lost.

"It's no more your fault then it is mine, Padfoot," Sam snapped at him.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked.

"I never trusted Rat Boy. I told them that in the beginning. Nobody listened to me so I stopped trying convince them to use someone else," Sam said with hatred in her voice and eyes.

"If your done wallowing in self-pity, we have things to do," Snape snapped at them bringing them out of their stupor.

"Like what?" Fred and George said in unison.

"Well, all those above thirteen grab a broom and lets play Quidditch," Sam said making everyone laugh.

"I have to make lunch or I'd come and watch," Mrs. Weasley said and walked to the kitchen.

"Percy and I have to get to work or else I 'd be happy to play," Mr. Weasley said. Then he and Percy disapporated.

"I think I'll help Mrs. Weasley with lunch," Hermione said and went into the house.

"You going to help Mum, Ginny?" Ron asked his little sister.

"Yes, I think I am," she said and followed Hermione in to the house.

"Why do girls always do that?" Ron said without thinking.

"No. That's too easy. I can't do it," Sam said.

"Does Ronnikins need someone to tell him about the birds and the bees?" Fred asked mischievously.

"Shut up, Fred," Ron said turning as red as his hair. Sam looked at the two male Marauders with a knowing smile and they smiled back.

"Ron, come with Uncle Moony and Uncle Padfoot," Sirius said as he and Remus stood up. When Ron didn't stand up, they grabbed an arm, pulled him to his feet, and walked away from the group. Ron looked at Harry, which said 'Help me'. Sam couldn't help it any more; she burst out laughing and everyone except Harry, joined in.

"Draco, please join us," Remus said and when he didn't he said, "Fred, George Please help Mr. Malfoy come over." Fred and George were more then happy to help; they pick Malfoy up by his armpits and carried him over.

"Moony, Padfoot do you need any help?" Sam said and laughed even harder at the horrified look on Ron and Malfoy's faces.

"No, thank, my dear we are all set to go," Remus said with a mischievous look on his face and in his eyes.

"Ok, but keep it clean," Sam said between bouts of giggling. Ron and Malfoy fidgeted the whole time and turned bright red.

"I can't believe they did that," Bill said.

"Believe it. You put the two of them and James together and you'll never know what hit ya in less you know them. And even then you can't always tell it was them," Sam said sadly. When they came back over Remus and Sirius were trying hard not to laugh.

"Ok, Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, and Ron go in side and get your brooms. The rest of you into the tent," Caroline said trying to hide a smile and not seceding. Everyone got up and went for their brooms. Harry started to laugh when he reached the safety of his room.

"Shut up, Potter. It wasn't funny," Malfoy said as he dug for his broom.

"Yes, it was. You should have seen your face." Harry said and started to laugh anew.

"Hurry up and get your broom," Sam said as she came into to the room thought her side door. Harry opened his trunk, pulls out his Firebolt, and started to check it for any faults.
