Chapter1
"Harry get up NOW!" yelled Aunt Petunia.
And summer beings again, Harry thought to him self as he got up and got dress. As Harry walked out his bedroom door Dudley was coming out his. He spotted Harry and ran back into his room. All thought breakfast The Dursley's were quite then there came a knock on the front door.
"Dudley, get the door," Uncle Vernon said.
"Dad, I think it's for you!" Dudley yelled to his father.
"Who are you and what do you want?" Uncle Vernon said as he came out of the kitchen.
"My name is Severus Snape and this is my sister," he said pointing behind him, "And we're here to see Mister Harry Potter."
"Professor Snape, what are you doing here?" Harry said as he came up behind Uncle Vernon.
"We need to talk to you in private, Mr. Potter," Snape said in a very concerned voice.
"NOT IN THIS HOUSE YOU DON'T," Uncle Vernon yelled at Snape and his sister.
"Mr. Dursley, there so nothing you can do to stop me from talking to Harry. I'm not going to hurt you or your family," Snape's sister whispered to Uncle Vernon.
"Vernon, just let them in, people are being to stare," Aunt Petunia said.
"Fine, but go up to your room I don't want to see these people," uncle Vernon said after about ten minutes.
"At least you won't hear us then, Harry lead the way," Snape said aggressively.
"Yes, sir," Harry said trying to hide a smile, "this way," Harry said as he headed up the stairs. Snape let his sister follow Harry first.
"Move your cape so you don't trip," Snape reminded her. She pushed the sides of her cape aside and ran up the stairs after Harry and her brother did the same.
"I'm not trying to be mean but who are you?" Harry said as Snape closed the door to his room. Snape's sister pushed the hood of her cape aside.
"My name is Samantha Black," the blonde haired woman answered his question.
"Black? I thought you were his sister," Harry said in surprise.
"If she's my sister I'm a monkey's uncle," Snape snorted.
"I can arrange that, Snippy," Samantha said with pain in her eyes.
"Harry, please sit down," Samantha said to Harry, "Harry, I'm your father's twin sister and yes I'm married to Sirius," she said after Harry sat down.
"You're my aunt." Harry said in shock.
"Yes, I am."
"Where have you been?"
"In St. Mango's Hospital trying to remember who I was," she whispered as she sat down at Harry's desk.
"What do you mean trying to remember?"
"You tell him," she said to Snape.
"A few months before your parents were killed, Sam was attacked by a Death Eater. He brought her in front of Voldemort, he tormented her by saying that he was going to kill her family if she didn't do as her said. Of course she wouldn't when his spy told him he could give him the Potter's he let her go knowing that she didn't know where she was or who she was," Snape said with pain.
"Why didn't he just kill you?" Harry said to his aunt.
"I wasn't a threat to him and he didn't know I was a Potter or he would have," she replied.
"Why didn't he know you were a Potter?" Harry shot back.
"Because after the age of three my surname was no longer Potter."
"What was it then?"
"Snape, it was Snape," Snape himself said nastily.
"Your kidding, you've got to be," Harry said with disgust.
"Afraid not, love," Sam said sympathetically.
"That means I'm related to you," Harry mumbled his head in his hands and Snape laughed.
"Harry don't worry there's no blood between the two of you, after father died Mum married Severus's father. He was good to Jimmy and me and he would have been to if he'd been a live," Sam said with a smile and over Severus's laugher. Harry looked up and into her eyes and there was a fire behind her crystal blue eyes.
Chapter 2
"What's going on in there, boy?" came the voice of Uncle Vernon. Sam looked at the door and said 'open'.
"Is there a problem Mr. Dursley?" she said in a calm voice.
"Just want to know what's going on," Uncle Vernon said slowly.
"Well, I was just telling Harry that I was going to be in the area for a couple of weeks and that I would be taking him to his friend Ron's house at the end of that time. If that's alright with you, of course," she said almost daring him to say no.
"That's...that's fine," Uncle Vernon stammered.
"Good, thank you that's all I need to know, close," she said and the door slammed in his face and all three of then started to laugh
"Now that that is done time to write to Dumbledore and Sirius, she said as she pulled two pieces of parchment, crystal blue ink and a quill out of her jacket pocket then started to mumble to herself as she was writing.
"Don't worry she does that all the time," Severus said seeing the look on Harry's face.
"Glad I don't act like that," Harry said with a smile.
"And why is that?" Snape said as he watched Harry's face.
"The Dursley's treat me like the plague as it is," Harry said with a smile on his face but pain in his eyes.
"May I?" Snape said softly pointing to the bed next to Harry.
"Of course," Harry replied and scooted over and did a quarter turn to face his professor.
"Look, Harry I know that I'm not your favorite person in the world, but I'm willing to listen to any problems you have. I may regret this but I'll even tell you about some of the stuff your father and his friends did in their time at Hogwarts," Snape said sadly.
"You never really hated my Dad, did you?"
"No, Harry I don't hate James I never did. No matter what else he was he was my baby brother," Snape said. He had a look on his face that Harry had never seen before.
"Then why do you treat me like dirt?" Harry said softly.
"So that no one would think that I cared about a Gryffindor. Let alone The Famous Harry Potter," Snape stopped sighed softly and wiped his eyes with his sleeve.
"As kids he hung around with me and the marauders, we had a blast but one day somebody said something then one thing lead to another and a fight broke out. Severus vs. four or five other Slytherins, Jimmy, Sirius, and Remy came upon it and joined in. Rat boy ran to find a teacher and got everyone into trouble the next morning before breakfast Jimmy and Severus got into an argument they didn't talk for two months after that," Sam said letting Snape compose himself a little.
"What made the two of you start talking again?" Harry asked, Sam groaned and Snape smiled happily.
"Christmas," Snape said strangely.
"Christmas?"
"I came up with an idea to get Sam to talk to us again. I told James about it and he agreed to help me with my plan," Snape said laughing softly.
"What was your plan?" Harry asked with interest.
"To turn Sam's room green and red, but James added his bit to it and I agreed. So instead of turning Sam's room green and red, I turned it green and your father turned her black panther red and mind you that cat was not happy to say the least, Snape finished and Harry started to laugh.
"But I got even," Sam said over Harry, "I turned Severus, himself, pink and Jimmy the color of a pumpkin," making Harry laugh even harder and fall off his bed, making Sam and Snape smile. When Harry's laughing turned into hiccups and he got back on the bed, Sam asked if they were hungry, they both said yes.
"Good, let's invade the kitchen," she said as she got up.
"You done with your letters, yet?" Snape said as he got off the bed.
"One down and one to go," she said as she walked out of the door.
"Give her three more hours," Snape whispered to Harry making him giggle. When they got to the bottom of the stairs Sam asked, 'where's the kitchen?' and Harry pointed down the right side hall.
"Good afternoon, lady and gentlemen," Sam said happily as she walked into the kitchen, Harry and Snape in tow.
"What do you want?" Uncle Vernon asked loudly.
"Lunch," said Snape in his normal tone of voice.
"What would you like?" this came from Aunt Petunia.
"I'll cook for the three of us," Snape said.
"There isn't much in the house, Dudley's on a diet," Harry explained.
"That's alright Harry I'll see if Mibsey will bring something over from the manor," Snape replied kindly.
"That's if you can find her," Sam snapped.
"Why do you say that?"
"Jared's up amongst the missing, again," Sam said sadly.
"Don't worry Jared won't do any of the stupid things you did as an Auror," Snape said as he dug into his pockets.
"What are you looking for?" she asked changing the subject.
"I put a pencil in my pocket this morning but I can't find it."
"Quill and ink," she said as she put them in front of him. Snape gave her a puzzled look.
"My pockets are bottomless," she explained.
'Oh, ok," Snape replied and started to write his list of items.
"Mibsey, Mibsey can you come here please," Sam said to the air. POP!
"Yes, Miss Sam," a house-elf said.
"We need something's from the house Severus will give you the list. Did everything from Diagon Alley arrive ok?"
"Yes, and the extra was given to the Weasley's," Mibsey replied.
"Good, here's the stuff I need, Mibsey," Snape replied for Sam.
"Be right back," and with a pop Mibsey was gone.
"The extra?" Harry said before the Dursley's could say anything.
"Oh, that. Well, Fred and George are friends with my daughter, Jenny. Jenny spends a lot of time in the kitchen. So they meet her there but when they leave they don't go empty handed," Sam said softly.
"So the house-elves are more or less giving them food by your request?" Harry asked.
"No," Sam said.
"By mine. Originally, it was Bill and Charlie as payment for watching Jared and Jenny. Then to Fred and George for keeping Jenny out of trouble," Snape said then stared at the ceiling.
"May the Gods have mercy, Professor Severus Snape has...dare I say it, a heart," Harry said with a smile and darted out of his professor's reach laughing.
"You tell anyone and I'll deny it," Snape said with a smile.
"Who on this planet would believe that you of all people are capable of being kind to one of the poorest wizarding families?" Harry said honestly.
"Good point," Snape said. POP!
"Hi Mibsey," Sam said. POP!
"Don't worry about Mibsey she'll be fine. Now, you two get out of my way and I'll make lunch," Snape said pointedly.
"What do you want to do, Harry?" Sam said.
"What kind of games do you have?" Harry asked.
"I know I have Exploding Snap and I might have wizards chess," his aunt replied.
"Let's play exploding snap then."
"Ok, where?"
"At the table," Harry said giving her a dirty look and Snape laughed.
"Shut up you two," Sam said with a smile. At that, Dudley ran out of the room leaving an empty chair. Harry and Sam sat down, after Sam dug out the game, they played until Snape sent them to get cleaned up. When they came back, the Dursley's were gone and lunch was on the table. The afternoon flew by, not knowing what time it was or what was going on around them.
"Severus, Samantha what on earth is going on?" came a voice from the back door.
"Minerva," Snape said.
"What are you doing here?" Sam asked shocked.
"Do you know how worried we were? Don't answer that. Do any of you know what time it is?"
"No," they said in unison.
"It's quarter to twelve," she said.
"Ok, Sam did you at least send that letter to that idiot husband of yours?" Snape said.
"Yes, she did," Harry said seeing the confusion on his aunt's face.
"I did?" Sam said with relief.
"Yes, during lunch. You said 'If I don't do this now he's going to turn into my brothers and turn my room green'," Harry said.
"Good, Harry go to bed and get some sleep, Minerva tell the headmaster that everything is alright," Snape said.
"Good night, Aunt Sam," Harry said giving her a hug.
"Good night, Harry," Sam said in reply.
"Good night, sir," Harry said to Snape.
"My name is Severus and don't you forget it," Snape said with a smile and caught Harry in a big hug.
"Well at least he didn't kiss ya," Sam said at Harry's stunned expression.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Harry said and went to bed.
Chapter 3
The last two weeks by too fast, Harry thought to himself as he sat in the Dursley's living room waiting for his aunt and Snape.
"I'll just close my eyes for a minute," Harry said out loud. The next thing he knew his aunt was shaking him awake.
"Want some breakfast, Harry?" Sam asked and Harry groaned and turned away to face the back of his seat.
"Leave the poor boy alone, Sam," the person next to her in the front seat said.
"He has to eat," Sam said in defense.
"Let him sleep. Molly will feed him when we get there."
"Alright," Sam said softly and Harry fell back to sleep. The second time he woke up it was on his own. When he looked around, he knew where he was at The Borrow. He got up, put on his shoes, and went down stairs. Just on front of Ginny's door he could hear yelling from the kitchen and went to see what it was about.
"What's going on?" Harry asked Fred and George.
"The lady that came with you and Professor Snape, she and Mum are having a bit of a cat fight," Fred said.
"Yeah and it looks like that lady is winning. Who is she?" George asked.
"My aunt," Harry said.
"We have to stop them from killing each other," Ginny said from in front of the twins.
"That is for us to do I think," came a voice from behind them. When they turned around it was none other then...
