When Harry was possessed by Voldemort at the end of OotP he wakes up on the floor of the Ministry. What if he had gone into a coma instead and stayed there for five and a half years? When he wakes up his youth is gone, his friends have moved on and Voldemort is still gaining power. To top it off he has a new ability he has gained to deal with.
