For Love or Funny?

The next morning, Lily and James were nowhere to be found. Molly, Arthur, and Sirius were searching for them everywhere: the classrooms, the halls, the common room, the dormitories.

Where are they? Molly wondered, frustrated.

"Molly..." said Sirius, his eyes sliding in and out of focus.

"You aren't... ahm..." began Arthur awkwardly.

"No, he's not drunk," Molly assured him, "Tonks sighting."

She pointed to a redhead bouncing her ringlets, laughing with a blond, who Molly identified as Marigold Blue.

"Go," said Molly.

Sirius bounded off like a dog trotting after his owner. This left Molly and Arthur alone.

"So, Molly," said Arthur in the deep voice she loved. Molly looked up and blinked.

He's sooooo dreamy.... Molly thought.

"Molly, you're foaming at the mouth," said a familiar voice from behind her.

Molly whipped around. Sure enough, Lily was standing there, standing very close to James, who was grinning broadly.

"Yummy Yummy Chicken Puffs! Orange and toasty, greeny and bluey, yummy ones named Con-co-o-o--o-o-o-o-o-o-ord! Yumity Yum Yum, Yummity Yum Yum, Chicken's on its wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay!"

Molly whipped around again. Peter Pettigrew was singing to himself, jogging and dancing in a silly manner, with his fingers doing a sort of wave. After several minutes, Peter realized that everyone, and I mean everyone was staring. Including the Great Squid. Even Sirius had broken himself away from Tonks to watch. In any case, Peter's eyes widened and screeched,

"So who cares if I sing the Yummmy Chicken Puffs Theme Song?"

His voice was reaching tones of insanity.

"No one does," said Lily, walking forward and patting him on his shoulder.

"Aieeeeee!" screeched Peter, and for some reason ran away, where he bumped into Professor Dumbledore. Peter threw his arms around Dumbledore's waist and started to wail hysterically.

Dumbledore patted him on the back, and sighed saying, "Alas, a cornucopia of love."

There was much laughing at this, but since no one had ever heard of Potter Puppet Pals, they probably did not laugh as hard as they would've if they had seen it.

"Meesta Pettee-greu!" cried someone from behind Dumbledore. Dumbledore stepped to the side to reveal Fleur Delacour.

Then the author of this story, SuperChicken, reached down from the sky, picked up Fleur and cried, "You're not in this crazy chapter! In fact, you weren't even born in this book! Go back to your own fic!"

Fleur cried the whole time while she was being lifted up, "OH, woe ees moi! Ah, non! Mes cheveux! Oh, no! My hair! Économiser mes cheveaux, svp! Save my hair, please!" (She spoke in both French and English as to increase her audience.)

After these ordeals, the students all looked at each other. Some idiot with half a brain shouted, "April's Fools," so they assumed that everything was just peachy and there was no need to pay any mind to the fact that it was actually April seventh, Peter Pettigrew just sang the Chicken Puff theme Song, Dumbledore quoted an ominous 'Potter Puppet Pals,' and a girl they'd never seen before who was from the future pops up, only to be picked up by a giant SuperChicken wing and brought into they sky.
