Author's Note:
Thank you to my reader torstoria and rosiecotton125, it means a lot!

I was especially nervous. James and I sat and ate in practically silence, (that is, after an enormous eruption in which I nearly walked out of the Hall, but luckily Remus caught me. Thank Merlin for Remus, because he's the only one with an average IQ around here. Or rather, an average ego.)

However, Tonks' and Sirius' side emitted a low, squelching sound every so often, and I didn't even want to look.

Meal ended rather quickly, and James and I excused ourselves and rushed to the Astronomy Tower. We sat down.

"Lily..."

"James..."

"I'm sorry for being a git," we said at the same time.

I started crying. And laughing. It was rather confusing and annoying.

"What's wrong?" James asked gently, wiping a tear from my eye.

"It's just---" I stopped.

"What?" James repeated patiently.

"Its just, first I hated you, and then I liked you, and now--- now I don't know how I feel!" I finished explosively.

James laughed.

"I know how you feel," he said.

I started laughing too. But then my laughter faltered when his hand edged closer and closer to mine.

James looked up. His fingers were touching mine, and then my hand slipped into his. A weight seemed to lift off my shoulders. I slipped over toward him. And then his eyes engulfed me, and he was so, so, so, close...

Molly Caid gasped. Lily and James were edging closer to each other. Molly knew she was a spy, a sneak even, but she couldn't help herself. The Saga of James and Lily was exactly like all of the Muggle books she'd read and loved. She sighed.

Arthur Weasley, Molly's tall, red-haired "friend" had left dinner early in order to catch up on some Muggle Studies in his dormitory. Molly then found herself with nothing to do, until she remembered Lily in the Tower. She grew excited. So, she and Arthur bid each other good bye, and Molly could check up on her match-making victims.

They were doing well.

Aha, thought Molly, do I detect snuggling?

True enough, the pair was very close, getting closer by the second, and then.... A kiss. Molly couldn't help but squeal aloud. But the two were too busy to notice.

Molly smiled widely. Perfect. She crept out before the two would notice her and went to the common room. She pulled out a beautiful parchment diary and a gold-tipped eagle's quill. She entered into her diary:

Dear Diary,

I am so glad about Lily and James! Yay! That brings my match-making successes up to... well, one. But that's not the point. The point is, I know they're right for each other, and I'm so happy! And Arthur's great, too. He's so nice and makes me feel so special, even though that Muggle obsession is a little odd. I'm sure he'll grow out of it eventually. Surely he can't get a job in it! [Molly laughed aloud.] Will we turn out like Lily and James? I don't know.

--- Molly Maybelline Caid

Sirius was in bliss. Tonks was in bliss. They were one happy couple.

Peter was mad. No, fuming.

I'm not so stupid, he thought, I'm not an idiot.

He wagged his head for moral support.

What did James mean? Peter had always seen himself as... well, not stupid, that's for sure. Fine, he thought, Fine. If they don't see me as smart, I don't need them!

Peter put his head down. All this thinking was making him dizzy.
