At the beginning of his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry gets a shock of his life when he learns the identity of the newest Defense Against Dark Arts teacher. But soon, Harry begins to wonder if there was more to this then even Dumbledore cares to admit. Meanwhile, a man with a dark past comes to Hogwarts hoping to find redemption and in the process, take revenge on a man who murdered his wife eighteen years ago. His very existence threatens to expose a dark secret that challenges everything there is to know about the Dark Lord.
