The crowd cheered as Millicent Bulstrode, Slytherin's Quidditch Captain, announced their best player of the year, Draco Malfoy. Draco was to give the pep talk before the final game against Gryffindor. He walked up to the front in his robes, looking as cocky as ever and turned to his team. They all immediately went silent, one person did cough, but he was glared at so severely that he was now holding his breath.

"We have been waiting for this chance to cream Gryffindor for the whole season. The first game was postponed due to injuries in large numbers, the second one was canceled due to the loss of all the Gryffindor brooms." The rest of the team laughed cynically at this for they new very well why all the broom were missing, "But now we have our chance! Let us not forget that we already have the House Cup with a total of 494 points, thanks to Snape, so why not get the Quidditch cup too?

"Well, I'll tell you why not." Everyone thought they had heard wrong, Draco was going to tell them why not to get the cup? Was he mad? "This is my last year at Hogwarts, but it is also Harry Potter's last year here too. I think he deserves this chance to get the cup a final time. We have won in 1992, we didn't have a game in 1993, and we have won every game since. I personally think that is not fair." A couple of people went to boo but Crabbe and Goyle (who was there for God knows what reason, probably for the free food) shut him up. "We all know how bad we want this, hell, I want it bad too! But let us be fair for once, let us show that the Slytherin House is not all evil for once, and let us be good friends to our fellow schoolmates for once." He took a dramatic pause for effect. This seemed to always work for his father, "Now, who is with me?" He yelled the last line so people would stand up and cheer with him. But nobody did. Everyone was dumbfounded. Did he really just tell them to loose? Against Gryffindor? For Harry Potter's sake? Harry Potter? He had gone mad. They all sat there not knowing what to say or do...

Then somebody started to yell his name, "Draco. Draco! DRACO!!!" He woke up with a start.

"Yeah, what? Ugh..." He rubbed his eyes and looked at Millicent. "What? What do you want?"

"You were sound asleep, come on, let's go. We have the game in twenty minutes and as our best player of the year I expect you to give a speech as to why we should win the Quidditch Cup for the third year in a row!" She was already throwing Draco's broom to him and grabbing him off of the comfortable, green couch.

So, he had not given the speech yet. Thank God! What was he thinking, let Harry Potter win? Ha! He wanted this cup so bad; he wanted to see the look of defeat on Potter's face more than anything. Draco rubbed his head and started at his captain who was now walking out the door towards the locker rooms. "I have such a headache..."
