"Hermione?"

Hermione looked up from her book. It took her a few seconds to find out who had been speaking to her, but she soon saw that it was Ginny, hiding behind a bookshelf.

"Yes, Ginny?" Hermione asked, putting her book down.

"I need to talk to you about Harry," Ginny said, walking over and sitting down next to Hermione. Hermione put a bookmark in her book and looked at Ginny. Ginny sighed and looked at her hands, which were clasped together over a birthday card from Harry.

"You know I've fancied him for awhile now, right?" Hermione nodded but didn't speak. "Well," Ginny continued. "I'm not sure if he fancies me."

"And... You want to find out."

"Yes," Ginny said. "Is there anyway you could ask him for me?"

Hermione laughed, but quickly turned it into a cough. "Ginny, I can't even find out if Ron fancies me or not."

"I'll ask him if you ask Harry..." Ginny gave Hermione a pleading look.

"Well..."

"Please, Hermione? Please?" Ginny was practically on her hands and knees and begging.

"OK," Hermione said, heaving a large sigh. "But you have to talk to Ron."

"Thank you! Thank you!" Ginny said smiling widely. "I could kiss you. But I'll leave that up to Ron."

She gave Hermione a quick hug and ran out of the library.

What have I gotten myself into? Hermione asked as she picked up her book again.

"Ginny? What are you doing here?" Ron asked as he noticed his sister walk into the Owlery. Ron had come here to try and escape people, but when you're a Weasley, that kind of privacy doesn't come easily.

"I need to talk to you," she answered.

"Yeah? About what?"

"About who, you mean," she said, grinning. Ginny always enjoyed teasing her brother.

"Fine, about who?"

"Harry."

"What about Harry?" Ron looked slightly alarmed.

"Don't worry," Ginny said. "It's just that...well, lately, things seem different between us. And I was just wondering...since you're his best friend and all... Has he told you anything? About me, I mean."

"Oh," Ron sat in silence for a minute. "He doesn't really talk that much, you know..."

"OK. I understand." Ginny turned to leave.

"Wait! I didn't say he never said anything about you," Ron said.

"Huh?" Ginny stopped.

"He hasn't actually said he fancies you, but he does mention you a lot."

"He does?" Ginny smiled. "What kind of stuff does he say?"

"He's always talking about how good of a Quidditch player you are, how much you've improved in the DA...he just goes on and on about you."

"Really?" Ginny grinned. "Thanks Ron. By the way, what about Hermione?"

Ron looked stunned. "What about Hermione?"

Ginny knocked lightly on the door to Hermione's dormitory. She hopped Hermione was there, but she also hoped Parvati and Lavender were gone, so the two could talk in private.

"Come in," came Hermione's voice.

Ginny opened the door and made her way to Hermione's bed. She sat down on the edge. "I talked to Ron."

"And? What did he say?" Hermione looked very interested.

"Tell me what Harry said first, then I'll talk." Ginny crossed her arms.

"Fine," Hermione said. "It's was difficult to get him to talk at first, but when I told him what you said---"

Ginny gasped. "You told him that I fancied him?"

Hermione smiled. "He's not blind. He already knew." She laughed at the look on Ginny's face. "Anyway, he said that there is only one way to find out if he fancies you or not."

"Does he love me? I wanna know!'

"You'll have to guess, Ginny," Hermione said, smiling.

"Why are you torturing me?"

"Don't you want to know?" Hermione asked, clearly enjoying her guessing game. If Ginny's not going to tell me what Ron said, why should I tell her what Harry said?

"How can I tell if he loves me so? Is it in his eyes?" Ginny asked.

"Oh, no. You'd be deceived."

"Are you sure? Is it in his eyes?"

"Oh, no. He'll make believe."

"Come on, Hermione! Just tell me!"

"If you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss."

"That's where it is?" Ginny asked, shocked. "Is it in his face?"

"Oh no, that's just his charm." Hermione smiled. This is fun, she thought.

"In his warm embrace?"

"Oh no, that's just his arms. I told you, if you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss."

"You actually expect me to kiss him?" Ginny asked.

"Hug him, squeeze him tight, find out what you wanna know. If it's love, if it really is, it's there in his kiss."

"How about the way he acts?"

"No, that's not the way. You're not listening to what I say," Hermione was starting to get impatient. "If you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss."

"That's where it is." Ginny finally gave up arguing.

"That's where it is." Hermione smiled and sat back. "Now about Ron..."
