Harry returns to Hogwarts after the Dursleys funeral, but is barely given a few hours to mourn before Voldemort once again invades his troubled life. As Harry struggles to come to terms with his grief, he finds himself pushing his friends away when he needs them the most. But could he tell them anything about the prophecy? Firenze gives Harry a glimpse of his future, a future that is tied with his dreams. And through it all a mysterious stranger arrives at Hogwarts, with him comes change, but is Harry prepared for it....?
The arrival of Ethan has brought change, in more ways than Harry yet suspects. His nightmares worsen and it forces Harry to reveal a some of his secrets to his friends. As Voldemort prepares for war, Harry does all he can on his end to train himself to be ready when the time comes. With a little help from Ethan, he begins learning some different magic. Harry continues his Apparation training with Ethan Rafe, though is everything as it seems. Ginny still seems to avoid him? But these thoughts are pushed out of his mind as the Hogsmeade weekend approaches.

He will decide who he can rely on in the coming storm and who is not to be trusted. Friendship is what matters and Padma may be getting too close....
