Remus, his friend, is alarmed to find him unhealthy, and recruits Severus Snape and Madam Pomfrey for his treatment. Snape and Lupin are shocked at the truth, but after some time, Harry gets the feeling that things happen for their own reasons. When Severus Snape starts to visit him occasionally, Harry wished he could confess his feelings to the wizard, but does not have the courage to do so. In the end, it is Severus, who makes the first move.

Slash. HP/SS eventually. Chapter Four: Severus Snape is surprised in his own home, but manages to get his potions and leaves his house with a cut and a pounding head. After he has treated Harry of injuries, the emerald-eyed wizard requests him to stay. He complied but unfortunately, when Lupin and the Weasley twins searches for their friend in Number Twelve, a sleeping Harry refuses to let him leave.

Slash. HP/SS eventually. Chapter Five: Nearly a month has passed since Harry's unfortunate encounter with Draco Malfoy. However, for some reason, his conscience begins to bother him, and he suddenly wants Draco to know the truth about his own feelings. So, on the day after Hermione's birthday, he decides to visit Draco, and finally learns of the curse.

Slash. HPSS eventually. Chapter 6: Harry is feeling restless and he impulsively goes to Hogwarts. He is hoping he'll be able to take Severus Snape out to lunch. Fortunately, he is not disappointed. However, it is not so for Severus, since he desires to hear an explanation for the visits Harry dropped on him.

Slash. HPSS. Chapter 7, the final chapter. Severus decides to drop in Number Twelve, and with the encouragement of Remus, he stays behind to tell Harry of his feelings. He even attempts to joke, by asking Harry, "Now, do you think the universe will be swallowed up by the sun?"
